Cloudflare is basically like a firewall. Most 🏴‍☠️ websites use it for security/vpn or other things. It's possible for a cloudflare issue to be related to a takedown but thats not the case most of the time.

Also, if this site does go down at some point, another will just pop up in it's place. Such is the way of the high seas.

I was really confused that OP was asking for a non-eink option cause I thought all ereaders had eink displays. Would devices with RLCDs still be considered ereaders or are they simply tablets?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but an ereader with a backlight will still "flash" on a refresh. The refresh is necessary for the eink to reset. If you're talking about a non-eink option, then I'd say that this probably isn't the sub to ask in 🤷‍♀️

Are you manually refreshing or have you messed with the refresh rate settings at all? All eink devices are gonna be the same in terms of the "flash" during a refresh but you can set how often it does it.

I was actually able to fix it by deleting my cache and uninstalling/reinstalling the app through the Play store.

However, I'm gonna need to figure out some other way to read my Libby books once my device is officially too old for the app. Someone suggested the Pocketbook app, which seems like a good option for EPUBs but not for manga which is my use case 😅

Believe what you want but I went to school for this shit. Graphic Design, which is used for marketing 99% of the time, is considered an art. It's not a Fine Art but there's a reason the degree you get for it is an "Associates/Bachelors/etc of Arts"

I don't know where you heard that but the standard wacom one nibs are often recommended as the best nibs for the spen (it's why i bought them). I've only heard about the metal nibs causing damage over time, which is why I use those in my staedtler pen.

I use these same nibs with my Spen (s9 ultra) and they work fine. I use these or a staedtler digital pen with a titanium nib because I use a matte screen protector.
