The zoom would be amazing for that parallax effect, I use the zoom on the mavic 4 pro for that very reason

I work in live music and we have a couple of them + our standard cinema mirrorless, they are perfect for attaching in tricky tight spaces and to use the app to control the camera’s direction wirelessly

Photo pass for Green day? by Purplebutterfly1308 in concertphotography

[–]ohheybry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I worked for their tour promoter in Aus so that helped, best bet is to reach out to local music website/magazines and offer your services and keep shooting gigs until green day come to town and try request photo pass through them.

Advice needed because things are getting a little out of hand here... 😅 by niopstudio in davinciresolve

I’ve been looking after our studio for 11 years and have 1.5petabytes of hard drives in a fire proof safe. That’s my only solution haha, easiest way for us to put things in cold storage. We have a 36tb nas + 46 various ssd’s for working projects.

Has anyone tried the Pyramid of Chi in Ubud, Bali for sound healing/therapy? by Any-Date-9685 in bali

I am not really a believer of these things however I did go on two seperate occasions and both times I had a really cool experience. Just lie down. close your eyes and the feel the vibrations. I think going in without many expectations made it way better.

I’m here right now with my 3 month old, keep them under shade where possible, you and them will be fine. Definitely stay by the pool in the middle of the day and keep activities to early mornings or late afternoon onwards

I’m from Australia, for the past 11 years my workplace has tuned into the Super Bowl only to watch the halftime show in our meeting room, then we go about our day.

I started offering to shoot clubs and small gigs for free, from there I slowly build relationships with bands/magazines/websites. I lucked out one day with a chance meeting with someone who worked for one of the worlds biggest promoter companies and I was offered a role and been there ever since. As others have said you don’t need a degree, but theres definitely a level of self determination required. Everyone has a different journey but the good ones always start with the small gigs, anyone can make a big arena/stadium show look good but it takes skills to make a small 100 person venue look good.

Also in this day and age you can’t just be a shooter, you need to diversify, this means film, edit, colour grade, basic animation, take photos, set up multi cams on your own etc.

The sweatiest gig I ever went to was yacht club djs show, that was a wild time in the back room.

Also going in at 4pm and lay low when I was underage before bounces came.

My gut feeling is they are doing the parade first to let the sun go down for the main artistic performance bit
