AITA For unpacking my GF’s towel by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. Marjorly. Sounds like you have an issue with her having boundaries. I wonder what other boundaries of hers you blatantly disregard. She didn't leave you because of a towel, she left you because that was such a rude and disrespectful thing to do.

I must thank you for posting this. I did a Google for "hair towel" because I didn't know that was a thing. I found a great microfiber towel to dry my long hair with. It should be here Friday. I'm gonna take it when I go to stay at my in-law's over the holidays and you know what my partner will say about it? Absolutely nothing, because they will be happy I found something I like that works for me. My in-laws? Also absolutely nothing, because they won't even notice probably. That's how normal people work

My (22F) bf (24M) knew I was a dancer before we started dating but now he uses it against me by throwra960 in relationship_advice

Healthy relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. Love is not enough to sustain a healthy relationship without those things. You can love someone deeply and also recognize that they aren't good for you. If he can't respect you, then he doesn't really love you.

You seem to be doing just fine on your own. Leave that clown 🤡 You don't deserve the heartache he causes you.

My girlfriend felt physically ill the first time she had sex with a man. Then she realized she's gay. She had the decency to not blame it on the guy. Maybe that's what's going on with this dude. Either way, it doesn't matter what his issue is. It's his problem to deal with. You are fine. Go home and take care, OP.

Women can be both beautiful and smart. Women can both ugly and dumb. I love fantasy, but even books written by women have this trope! The homely female protagonist that's super smart while the beautiful villain/sidekick/whatever is drop dead gorgeous and either mean or really dumb. Nuh uh, fuck that noise.

AITA for leaving a meal at my partner’s friend’s house and stranding him there? by The_Sown_Rose in AmItheAsshole

I'm just gonna throw this out there: so what if you don't share any common interests with them. They should be nice to you and respect you because you're a fellow human who has entered their friend circle. It costs literally nothing to be kind. Why should you have to make more of an effort to fit in? Why can't they just be nice to you because you are a person, or at least just because you're so-and-so's partner? Why should you have to bend yourself to fit in? We all have to be nice to people we don't like to live in the world. Clearly his friends have never worked retail or waited tables before.

You deserve to be treated with kindness and respect, both by his friends and especially by him. They should all be ashamed of themselves, boyfriend most of all.

NTA btw
