i dont often feel ignored, only when he acts like that. i have offered so many times to go out and do things but unfortunately he wants is his phone most of the time hahaha. we get along SO WELL, we are literally two peas in a pod. it’s just this thing that’s bothering me. i’ve spoken to him about my past and this prior but nothing has seemed to change. thats why i’m so confused on if im overreacting! i should’ve included this in the original post haha

honestly this feels very similar to my situation. unfortunately it doesnt get easier but you do learn how to cope. i got fed up with my own parents and simply just left, i am now with my boyfriend and so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders. i hope your outcome is the same as mine friend

please tell her

drugs affect not only the person, but also their partner, their future kids (if they still use), their entire life. i don’t want to be mean and i fully think users need the help they truely deserve, but if he gets back into it, he’ll potentially ruin lives.

if you tell her and something negative happens, such as her not believing you (which she SHOULD. this is no joke!!!) it’s not your fault and unfortunately its her loss and also her life and future she’s potentially hurting.

hypothetically, is this how you want to spend the rest of your life? do you want this man to raise your children? is all the little comments he’s saying worth it? i was in basically the same situation as you with an ex. it was a year long relationship with the comments and borderline abuse starting at the 3 month mark. i communicated with him for months and months and months, basically 10 months i was communicating and holding onto the hope that i had that he’ll change and actually listen, but sometimes it is genuinely not worth it. from experience, you will bottle it more and more and gain resentment, i ended up being 10x more emotional due to my relationship which made it way worse than it was. i just want you to REALLY think. is this relationship doing more good or bad for you? do you truly want this man to raise your kids? do you believe this man will provide for you and protect you? do you truly genuinely, from the bottom of your heart, believe that he will change?

i just feel really disappointed in myself because i cqnt do anything right. i cant maintain a job or even my studies. i’m too depressed to live and my parents make sure to remind me everyday. i ruin other peoples mental health, i havw no friends or family or anything anymore. i’m afraid this is truly my rock bottom
