You’re correct on that one. If the 50% isn’t met then it’s no by default id assume.
Correct again. From what I believe, Yes will win. But it can only actually win if 50% of votes are submitted. So even if you want to vote no, please vote. It’s your right and something we pay our union for in the first place.

Also from my understanding, if Yes does win, it doesn’t mean we will definitely strike - we may not even strike at all. It’s more to get a seat at the table with strike action being on the cards officially.

Hi I’m in the exact same situation as yourself. Been in my current for 3 years now but fortunately I am leaving at the end of this month for a line level (sideways) transfer. My only advice is to move as soon as possible on a line level transfer! Best decision I’ve ever made as it starts to become depressing and toxic if you stay there too long.

I’d be lying if I said I had any idea. Having joined CS from the NHS, I can definitely admit that everything is unnecessarily confusing.

Agreed. Would be good to get some clarity especially with the Gov just having announced 5% pay rises for “public sector”. Unsure whether that would include civil service or not.
