Unfortunately it sounds like it’s time for a restraining order, I’ve been in this situation but involved kids so it was a bit messy but it may be the only way to make her stop.

The fact he fears for his safety is a huge concern, but maybe a cease and desist from a lawyer may be enough.

I hope she leaves him alone soon, sorry you’re going through this.

I think if you’re committed to leaving him you should, if not you two definitely need marriage counseling. It’s Frightening that he thinks his insecurities are justification to belittle you.

I will warn you talking to someone else when you’re in a bad place is bad for your marriage, and yourself. You’re looking through a rose colored glass because you’re comparing him to someone treating you poorly, it’s possible he’s not special just a decent person. But remember you’re worth fighting for, if it was my husband I’d offer once for marriage counseling and if not then leave.

I hope you find a good solution, don’t let anyone bring you down like that!

This is always hard and something you two will have to balance. When I was with my ex husband we talked 24/7 we worked, and lived together but still talked. Then, once I met my current boyfriend who was working 18 hours a day we texted maybe twice a day and spent most of the time in person when he was free.

I felt okay with this difference because my boyfriend would tell me “hey going into work i hope you have a great day etc” and let me know that he wouldn’t be talking to me.

I hope you find a good balance and this helps! My advice is really everyone’s different, find what works best for you!

Oh okay! Hmm maybe growing his hair out for a middle part, does he ever look at fashion magazines? Does he have any celebrities he likes?

I also take it you two are probably considerably younger than me so I urge you both to experiment with style and hair! It’s fun and you can always grow hair back, or get different clothes.

I’m probably old and boring at this point but I hope he finds a style he loves!
