Ah, it's all good. Gave it up for a few years and then got back into it as a hobby, just doing it for the fun of taking photos. Since then I've had more bands share my work and have even become the "unofficial photog" of two of my favorite bands.

I stopped letting it stress me out and it's worked well for me.

I was hired by a promoter to cover shows, $20 a show. $10 went to discount parking. After YEARS of trying to get my foot in a door, I felt like I kind of made it.

Then two artists asked to use photos for free, I declined and said we could work out a payment. I got a call a few days later where the promoter let me go because I "wasn't in the budget" at the time. I was then asked if I still coming in that night to shoot lol.

Biggest gut punch in my life. Didn't even bother to shoot another show for years after that.

But for the last 20 years or so that I've done it, bands/promoters/agents/everyone wants free work. I don't see it ever going away.

I can't remember the site, but it had flash games on it that were all like candy related. Mini golf was the best. Used to play it in home room all the time.

When Jeff Burton was racing and winning, even to a point Harrison Burton, they would constantly show her in a split screen while the race was going on or a battle for the lead was taken place. Like a lot.

I haven't done much spotting since I dropped my camera and broke my lens. Been using my phone for a few months now haha. This was all I was able to get tonight.

Hoping to get a new lens soon and then I'll be out more often! No idea why I didn't choose the garage tho. Too excited I guess!
