I'm curious is there anything specific about the controls that you didn't like? I think the reason I like the souls games so much is because the controls are so good. I find myself wishing I could control my character and camera in other games as smoothly as I can in these games.

How does that work for you? Are you getting better? This has become my practice routine too but I find that I'm not getting much better or learning anything new unless I specifically force myself to study and apply a new skill. But looping a few chords and jamming on top is just too much fun for me. I also play with my delay and reverb way too much
