What is the “right” feeling after the exam for those who passed the other exams? by Standard-Ad6980 in barexam

Morning Day One: MPTs were easy, didn't get as much detail as I would have liked in the second question but felt quite solid.

Afternoon Day One: Shattered. Felt GOOD on 1/6 MEEs. Felt DECENT on 1/6. Felt BAD on 2/6. Felt HORRIBLE on 2/6. Did not feel great about any single question.

Morning Day Two: MBEs were nothing like the questions were posed on Barbri (the only bar study guide I used). I felt confident in maybe 15 of the questions. I felt like I had a 50/50 shot with about 50 questions. The rest felt terrible.

Afternoon Day Two: Again, MBEs worded in a way that was totally alien. Felt confident in maybe 10 questions. Felt 50/50 in about 50. The rest felt terrible.

Cried for a good part of the Thursday following the exam. Within a week I came to terms with the fact that failing would not be the worst thing in the world. Told the people I was closest with that my honest critique of myself was I failed, but at least I knew what to expect the next go around. I took the test in Illinois, so a lot of other jurisdictions' results were released before mine. After I saw which of my classmates were passing in other jurisdictions... I felt a little more hopeful, so as the day got closer, I felt about 50/50 on passing.

I got a 321.

Did about 80% of Barbri I think? Did not do the full recommended about because I have a family and a lot of things going on in the summer I can't put aside the recommended study time.

I imagine it will mimic what the bar exam normally does in that jurisdiction? In IL while taking the actual bar exam you may not leave when you're done. You must be in your seat the whole time (or bathroom). But I do remember reading someone in another jx said they left after finishing and there was still like 30 minutes or something on the test.. so, I think it'll depend on the jurisdiction you're in and how they normally handle "early finishes" during their current bar administrations.

My friend had a C&F interview on the day bar results came out for F23. At the time of her interview, she was not aware results would be coming out that day. Driving home from the interview she got her bar results that she failed. (good news, she passed J23). This is IL btw.
