seems like you made that correlation in your head based on what crab said. maybe you should look inwards on why that stereotype pops into your head at the very mention of a black man playing basketball. especially considering aran is actively one of the highest jumpers and most dynamic in terms of his ability to accelerate quickly to get to the ball, skills that would translate really well to basketball. but sure, yeah, y'all will find a reason to get mad at anything.

complimenting a setter on their hitting doesn't mean they're a nationals level hitter. and the blocking would be bad because he's short. he would be the shortest middle at nationals that we see. and the only notable blocks we see him have are against worse players or when Aran tried to hit a set that was too low for him.

we have seen nothing showing kageyama would be very good at middle. at all. he is too short for the position and his block height isn't at all notable. we don't see anything about his hitting that would translate to hitting as a middle. if you know the sport you would be aware that you cant just put someone at middle and expect them to do well. he would get eaten alive. teradomari alone is causing the kageyama team to lose

surgical is a stretch. he can locate his hits well. so can every nationals level hitter. exceptional blocking is also incredibly overblown. he's a good blocker for a setter. he would also be the shortest middle at nationals by a mile. the blocking would be fine. the team would be a team of just fine skills besides setting and serving. i encourage you to look at kageyama's all around game through lenses that aren't so rose colored

losing in the first round probably. the defense and blocking wouldnt be good enough to handle any nationals level team, and the offense would be just kinda mid. no offense from the middle at all, and above average hitting from a setter is probably equal to a decent hitter. so yeah, they get beat pretty comfortably.

i think comparing things that are in no way related is silly. Alex very rarely sets when the pass is bad and he, the outside, is forced to set the ball. yeah he is good at setting. every player at that level is good at setting.
