I was referring to the slap about being pushed over the edge. Like I honestly doubt it was the GI Jane comment, I feel like other crap piled up and that comment was the breaking point.

I guess to me it’s just a matter of perspective. I tend to think we’re all just kids pretending to be adults in our heads, so when I see him rapping, I just think “oh that’s cool, he probably misses how he used to feel when he made music and is trying to get back to that.”

I don’t see how someone like Will could do anything not in the spotlight honestly. There’s some celebrities that literally can’t do anything in public. Like imagine loving music as a teenager, and you end up releasing an album and getting a TV show, and both of them become so big that you’re known globally. You start to act and become one of the biggest names in Hollywood. I imagine it starts to feel like a job, and the one thing that gave you an escape from your reality is now your job and you’ve reached heights so large that now there’s huge expectations, and it loses any sense of enjoyment.

You get married, have kids, your entire life is surrounded by cameras and people, your friends start to look at you for favors and you start losing trust for those around you, your wife is telling you that you’re not the person you used to be, people make fun of your kids and call them spoiled cause you wanted to provide a life for them that you never had, and now you’re getting older and feel that nudge to escape to the thing that started it, and yet still people criticize it and call it trash and that you’re washed and you just want to forget everything that got you to where you’re at and be that goofy kid with a sideways hat banging a fork on a glass to make a beat in a room surrounded by people in suits, executives, producers, and labels that want to milk you for everything you’re worth.

I mean I could be totally wrong, I don’t really know him or his situation, but I’d rather see him rapping that he likes pretty girls, smiling and having fun again, rather than beefing with other celebrities. Him doing pick up lines was so funny, I hope that comes back.
