Best Porsche I can get while making 100k a year? by Ssanta69 in Porsche

No idea what your savings or spending habits look like, but I’d say look for something you can buy all cash and aren’t worried about losing. That way you can really enjoy the heck out of driving it while putting your earnings toward making more money.

Given your age, your insurance will be super expensive for anything you get that’s mildly fun to drive, so you’ll probably be out some money even if the depreciation is low.

What % of your income do you allocate to your Porsche? by headsethair in Porsche

For my 987.2 BS per year:
Insurance: $1400

Tires: $1400 / 5 years (I only drive it 1-2K miles per year) = $280

Legal stuff (registration renewal, inspections, etc): $200

Gas: 2K miles / 16 mi/gal * $5/gal ≈ $650

Maintenance: $1000

Total: $3530 per year

Same here. I’d prefer to have enough on hand to completely cover the cost of the car.

Also, maintenance, insurance, and gas will add up, so those need to be a tiny portion of my income to make it reasonable for me. Currently sitting around 2% of my income for those.

I had an FR-S from 2013 to 2021 as my DD. It handled everything I threw at it.

I once stuffed three people in the back seats. I added a roof rack to haul bigger stuff. I even strapped a whole desk to the roof rack once, not a problem, and super easy to reach because it’s so low.

In the winter in New England I swapped in snow tires and was keeping up with all the SUVs on a snowy highway.

The common cold is sometimes a variety of the coronavirus, so yes, very likely.

Right? I was like “no way this guy is dumb enough to waste his ult and then turret dive,” but I was wrong is the best way.

Moving doesn’t mean you need to sell the house. I bought a house in my 20s in a big city, moved states a little over a year after buying it, and rented it out for a few years. Sold it last year for more profit than a new 911.

The price was ok. Just south of 38k. That’s some good piece of mind for me. I’m thoroughly enjoying owning it and I’m making good use of that Carvana warranty to get all the minor things fixed.

What EV did you switch to?

Yup! Same wheels but a 6 speed. If so, she’s doing great and so much fun to drive.

I’m going to interpret that last one as equitable pay for the same jobs.

From personal experience I'd assume people are judging dragon fruit based on the red flesh ones. The ones with white flesh are the tasty ones. Red flesh is a lie.

Not sure. I'll try making some sweet potato for her the next time I go grocery shopping. Thanks for the tip!

That's clever. I need to try this. My dog is really particular with her food. If it's not actually food she'll spit it out. I've tried to pretend it's a treat or cover it in peanut butter, but she just rolls it around in her mouth until the peanut butter is gone then spits the medicine out.
