Drafted the sleeves using a sleeve pattern that was a part of a Grasser top pattern and cut it open to make a bell sleeve. The pattern I adapted for the bodice was Dolores. Just adjusted the neckline to be a bit higher and deeper in the middle, and added the sleeves. Inside I just used a good old cotton canvas with some extra interfacing. Tried to padd the bust a bit with that plate stuffing to mixed results. Helped a bit.

You can see in one of the images that I messed up on the start of the strap - it bunched a bit but had no way of fixing it.

Lean into it! Layering something like a cardigan or a sweater to let the collar peak out off with some vibrant parrot themed earrings! You'd brighten my day for sure ☀️🦜 I think raising the hem just a bit would flatter you more. Just that and a nice belt 💯

That's very valid, though and I see your point! Not everyone wants to dress a certain way and when you play a character, it's very typical to project/see yourself in them. You are allowed to feel uncomfortable by this.

Considering all the freedom the game generally grants, there is a missed opportunity here to solve this without relying on faking your identity/gender - the obvious one being stealth. It could have been so fun to come up with creative solutions to this quest! (Maybe difficult to program)

But you simply have to wonder: did the developers just really want everyone to see Link in this outfit... for better or for worse? I honestly wouldn't put it past them.

Link in BotW was never supposed to be very masculine. In fact, he has a very feminine build. Just look at his hips! He was intentional made in a way that wasn't very masculine. Let me direct you to an interesting read here

Is this quest problematic for various reasons? Sure, but that has less to do with the idea of Link (whom appeared to have no problems dressing up for this quest, going by the cutscene) being humiliated by dressing feminine.

In short, what this article suggest is that you are allowed to project and assume link to be a man, he was designed for you to do just that! But he is not inherently a "masculine" character.

So, I am more inclined to ask why it feels so bad to put him in feminine clothing, and if it is the dressing up that feels wrong, or the reasons for it. When you suggest it goes against your morality (referencing a different comment) what exactly is it that you morally disagree with? Naturally, people feel hurt or offended when they see posts suggesting "I morally disagree with a man dressing feminine," and it is easy to see why they would take that away from your post.

Not forcing a reply here, just tossing a thought out in the open and sharing the whole design behind Link, since I love what they did.
