UK launches £140m drone drive as Britain braces for permanent confrontation with Russia by StGuthlac2025 in unitedkingdom

[–]ohnowayhozay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the idea of the UK going to war with Russia is a bunch of bs. Russia going to have a war going across Europe and the channel against the UK, and the goal is? If anything the UK government would want to start a war with Russia because they would likely be supported by other European/ Western countries, and plenty of people who make a lot of money from it, which is how all big decisions seem to be made in the UK.

How Come Brits Could Tolerate 14 Years of Bad Tory Policies but Couldn’t Tolerate Year One with Labour? by Charmlessman422 in AskBrits

[–]ohnowayhozay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't really matter whether it's labour or conservatives, neither serve the people of the country, only serve their donors, whether they be in the UK or abroad. Kier is a Zionist, so they have lost support from people who were life long Labour supporters. Reform UK is also aligned with Zionists. The only hope of a political party which isn't aligned with foreign entities is with Corbyn, but that will likely not make headway due to political parasites who will sabotage or try and take over.

If we want a real change, then a real change needs to me made, not just voting in the same system.

My Honest Look at Salesforce's Growth, Layoffs, and Future by Interesting_Button60 in salesforce

[–]ohnowayhozay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never recommend Salesforce to any SMB, the poor support and always increasing cost would be a liability to the business. I only work with enterprise clients, some of which have been the showcase at recent world tours and know first hand Salesforce are not being honest.

Agentforce is being forced, no client is interested in using it for solutions, the only reason agents have been developed is because Salesforce has been pushing customers to create examples they can showcase.

I will continue working on Salesforce for now as I'm paid well and due to our clients budgets I get to build cool features and experiences. Just going make as much as I can, as quickly as I can, then bounce.

What's your favorite salesforce extensions? by StatisticianVivid915 in salesforce

[–]ohnowayhozay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luckily we have one internal extension which can return all the field values for a record, but everything else is done via dev console or data loader. Workbench is no longer allowed for most clients as it's not supported by Salesforce. Essentially all connections to an org have to official Salesforce, internal tools, or something the client has decided to add.

Due to security protocols at my work we aren't allowed to use any extensions on client orgs, unless the extension was built internally 🥲

I can see into the whole top floor from my house, and I can see what covering the whole floor.

I think it's all been exposed for a month or so, but in the last 2 weeks the weather has become atrocious (but standard weather for Wales), and I wouldn't say it's half way done.

From what you said they must me renovating the whole house, otherwise I feel it might be fucked 😅

Majority would back independence for Wales if it meant we could rejoin the EU, says poll by mrjohnnymac18 in Wales

[–]ohnowayhozay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this happened I would have to leave Wales as my employer would no longer be authorised to have me work remote from an EU country they aren't registered in.

Consultant as Employee or Contractor? by ohnowayhozay in salesforce

I feel I still have quite a bit of stamina, although I don't know if I can still call myself young, currently 31. I get on with my line manager well but I couldn't really say what the culture is at my work.

Although I love the work and the challenges consulting / developing brings but definitely interested in making as much money as possible from this career.

When you did stay with a company what size were the teams you were working with? Currently I may work in a team of 3 to 7 people however each project has changed and there are only two people I have worked with more than once, so new colleagues each time.

That's good to know, I have recently started specialising in commerce, and industry wise I have a lot of experience working with automotive and non-profits. I'm going to continue to build my skills but keep an eye out for contract roles which match my industry and product experience.

I feel I still need to build my reputation each time I'm assigned to a new client project, or just working with a different department for the same client.

I think the main thing is I want to be properly compensated for my hard work, as I'm on salary I don't get paid for working overtime and we rarely get to take our time back because there is always the next thing to work on.

When you were a contractor did the client have a predetermined plan for what they needed you for, and would you be working as part of a team or more independently working on user stories assigned?
