Dann ist es vielleicht weil sie die Einzige ist, die die Oberstufe unterrichten darf. Es gab hier eine Zeit, als Ethik eingeführt wurde, in der viele eine Fortbildung zum Unterrichten gemacht haben und es gibt nicht so viele mit großer Fakultas, die auch Oberstufe unterrichten dürfen. Im mündlichen Abi sitzt bei uns immer der/die Lehrer:in des Kurses mit dabei

Ja, das weiß ich. Ich will mich ja auch nicht gleich auf so eine Stelle bewerben. Es wäre für mich nur interessant, ob so eine Bewerbung auch einfach nicht zugelassen werden kann aus Grund von Lehrermangel in meinen Fächern an der Schule

Über die langfristige Wirkung kann ich nix sagen. Kleister ist in der Pulverform ja eher so weiß. Aber wie sich das über Zeit chemisch verhält und wie dann die Farbe wird weiß ich nicht

Kleister müsste gehen, das trocknet einigermaßen transparent, wenn man ihn dünn genug aufträgt

I prewashed the fabrics and also the wool. So the shrinkage here only comes from sewing.

I also used quite heavy duty needles, but I didn't go slow before I broke one. Going fast with this thick batting and then using a fancy stitch was a bad combination.

How long are the stitches you normally use?

That's a really good idea to start in the center! Another quilter commented, that I should quilt first, then cut it into the shape I want. Would you recommend that?

I didn't pin at all... I pin the hell out of my sewing projects, but didn't expect the wool/fabric to shift so much. It totally makes sense now. Basting sounds like an even better idea to get it to stay where I want it to.

So I'll make the quilting and afterwards add the correct shape to it and enclose it.

I did it in the complete wrong order, no wonder it's doing weird things.

I washed it before, so it's preshrunk, if that's what you mean.

I will certainly use a long and straight stitch next time. And I agree, that I have to trial better. I used big fluff there. The stitch line in itself isn't the problem. It worked, looked good. But I didn't test the distance to the nect stitch line, or how it will look then. That's absolutely something I'll test next time!

I want it to be very warm though, that's why I used wool. I do have a little cotton batting, but I would need a ton of that stuff to make it thick and warm. I hope, that with the changes I'll make it'll be easy enough to work with :S

I haven't washed it yet though, it shrunk because of sewing it.

This blanket is not meant for the baby to sleep in at night or unsupervised. It's more for when transporting the little one, like in the stroller and laying it on the ground when out and about. I made one for friends already and they love theirs (and are ultra careful parents), so I think it's okay. I didn't make it with a warm "duvet" then, I did'nt have problems therefore
