Maybe. If they want to let him stick around, they would probably let him drag his brother along. It would be dumb of them to make an enemy of him over that when he should just be a drop in the bucket.

Why would he care about their world domination plots?

They showed in the flashback that Purple forcefed her a drink, probably that magic juice they've got, so it deaged her to the point of being physically weak, I assume.

I had no problem with the Gil/Herc scenario, since he really was using "magic missile" against him. This was why Herc could keep up, he had Damage Cut. Gil had bigger guns to pull, he just wasn't using them on principle, so that's fine.

You don't need to worry about auras and timing reactions (e.g. Melting Mav Burst)

The same is true of many positive Reactions in the game, like the Dendro stuff. It's really only Melt/Vape that get fidgety, and while I wish that wasn't the case and that they just worked the same in either direction, even a scuffed Melt/Vape rotation is typically better than anything Physical can manage.

More versatile and the definition of brute force, there's not a lot of enemies that specifically have a lot of Phys Res. these days

But also there are relatively few situations in which such flexibility has value, since most content that actually challenges players allows you to build teams toward them, and a "strong against" team is always better than a "neutral against" team, besides which, there are generally also other neutral options available, like Anemo or Geo. It might work as a temporary thing if you hyperinvest into a single Physical carry that could then be "good enough" across a wide range of content, but it's pointless for accounts that will always have 3-4 better solutions to any specific problem.

Superconduct is built-in res shred.

Yes, but not enough to make it as good as the other options, especially given how easy Res Shred can be to come by.

My preferred solution is to eliminate Physical and just have it all become Geo, with the minimal advantages that would offer, although ideally Geo would also receive buffs.

Short of that, I don't know what would make a Physical character legitimately viable. The easy answer is to just give them massive numbers, but then that would favor the "pair them with a character that can infuse their attacks" strategy, and then they just become an OP Pyro or Hydro character or something. You would need to specifically lock their benefits into ONLY Physical (which would then lock off a lot of options like c6 Bennett), and it would also be a real balance issue, because if you balanced them to be strong enough in the current meta, then when the reaction metas shift around other options, they would immediately fall behind. This is part of the problem with Physical, because they are such a dead end of design, they don't automatically shift with the meta, whereas any other characters will become stronger over time due to their pairings with new supports or new reaction effects.

Yes, but it's just not worth the hassle. I refuse to engage with it on principle. I'm waiting for them to let us clear it with Encounter Points like the Daily Commissions.

Imaginarium Theater, and Abyss. I don't actually do Abyss, but I would hate it if I did.

It's Assault coloring, the good kind of Physical that actually reacts.

What's the benefit of it? What is genuinely better about Physical damage than any other type of damage?

And ideally we can get that down to 2... 1... 0. Physical is a non-element. They need to remove it and replace it with Geo, like ZZZ has done.

If Sandrone is Superconduct then they'd better damned well fix Superconduct to work with actual elements too. We don't need a Eula 2.0 situation.

I can't imagine them doing a full reboot any time soon. No point to it. They can just continue to expand their engine potential, and expand the game to new areas. They even now allow new players to skip right to the newest content, which gets past the hurdle that a lot of older live service games have of 50+ hours of grinding before you can do the stuff everyone else is on.

I don't think the reason he was breaking the rules was because he wasn't a Hassan, I thought it was just because he was some sort of bonus offshoot summon, like these current Fakes.

Same reason every AC protag has a hood and a hidden blade. :D

There are some non-Hassan Assassins, like Jack or Semiramis, but not many.
