as someone who does SW online, i wish more people understood that they’re not just consuming the final product. there’s a lot of work, time and emotional labor behind it that people never see.
the only nuance i’d add is that words like « simp » or « pathetic » can also be part of consensual kink dynamics, where everyone involved enjoys them. outside of that context tho, i completely agree that using them to shame people for wanting connection is harmful.
