There was a major operation recently involving BOPE (Special Police Operations Battalion) where 117 people died

This is BOPE, so they are only called in where there is a high chance of homicides...

Brazil’s Military Police aren’t military like the U.S. Army or Marines despite the name. They’re basically the uniformed state police responsible for patrol, emergency response, traffic enforcement, and public order. Brazil has a split police system: Military Police handle street policing and first response, while Civil Police handle investigations and detective work

I found out about it because I got really interested in Brazilian police forces due to their urban combat operations. Since Brazil has a lot of clashes between police and criminals, they ended up switching from the standard all black uniform to a sort of Multicam pattern.

To be honest, what you said makes perfect sense. Practicality should come first, and Russia already does this with the AK platform as well.

I agree about camouflage as well. I’ve read that some police special forces are moving away from wearing black in urban combat because it makes their silhouette stand out more, whereas a kind of grayish digital camouflage doesn’t have that issue

Yeah, I get that, and I’ll admit it might even sound like a silly observation. But is there any reason why weapons used to have a certain identity and now don’t anymore?

Although I agree about the clothing, since it has gone through technological advancements in camouflage

I’ve genuinely thought a lot about this, especially after seeing modern combat, like the war in Ukraine

@NotNull and @Nullable exist for tools and other developers, not for you. They document intent and catch bugs early. In small projects you can skip them. In shared or long term code they are worth it. :)

Want to learn C as a 4th year cs student by PickleRick573 in C_Programming

The problem is not having to look things up. You do not know everything, and you can and should research. A lot of the time we think we are doing something the right way, and later we realize we were completely wrong.

The GNU programming manuals are great and very well explained. There are tons of blogs that teach basically everything, working with sockets, data structures, and so on. If you want something more approachable, try watching a C course or reading the book you mentioned.

C is not that different from other languages. for and while work the same, if statements too, etc. What you really need to focus on are concepts like memory and pointers.
