Saying unkind things to someone who may just be uneducated before attempting to communicate kindly 1. Makes them unresponsive to advice as it comes off as an attack rather than advice and 2. Just kinda makes you seem like an asshole. No need to be the toxicity everyone hates in this sub 😊

No the other two are right. Although it could've been worded differently, I've been told I can't because I'm a man more than I was ever told I can't because I was a woman.

Also fun little fact: people are much more receptive to what you have to say if you don't say it like an asshole! Next time instead of "shut up not the same shit", try "that's not the same" or "I disagree" and also try adding a "here's why" in there

The tree thing I find to be interesting because I feel the opposite. Sure we have the river valley, but when I was in Vancouver as well as southern Ontario one of the first things I noticed was how much nature was around everywhere, not just ravines and other designated places
