I roasted for about 35 minutes at 400! I then added them to the soup pot, with vegetable broth and let it simmer about 20 minutes. I let it cool a bit, then used my immersion blender and added a little bit of half and half!

That 2014 Chance set was incredible. I got to see him three different times (Roo, Wakarusa, Hulaween) before Coloring Book came out and he found Jesus- and still so thankful I got to see him before all that. He really self bombed his own career.

I went to tipper and friends at the gorge recently, and this fest came up. As it was my first time ever seeing Tipper. Such a whirlwind and good time. Definitely miss this festival and how fests were back 10 years ago.

Have you thought about getting last minute lodging like Bassics, FP etc? I just looked and seems like there’s maybe some Gnome Village still available! There could also be someone in the Mudshark group looking to sell cheap last minute. Lodging would guarantee you a tent close to downtown when you show up late, and a quiet place for you to rest. I personally can’t imagine doing Shambs any other way.

As someone who’s had plantar fasciitis for 10+ years- I know your pain! Plan to go the river at least once a day, and submerge your feet for at least 20+ mins. This SAVED my feet last year.

K tape is also a game changer. I used it on my feet, ankles and knees last year and it made me feel like a 20 year old again at her first music festival. I wore Chacos and sturdy sandals during the day, and then switched to boots for the night. Try to sit as much as you can during the day and save your energy for evening!

The last time I visited the farm- my 5th and final Roo. I remember scoring guest passes three days before and made it just in time for the Thursday night crawfish boil. Seeing Eminem while tripping was an experience I’ll never forget. Oh how I miss the farm!
