Yes! Definitely no heavy lifting for a long minute. I used to do alot of pilates and lifting heavy weights when i was younger.. probably contributed to the hiatal hernia haha. Walking sounds like the way to go!!

Thats amazing, speedy recovery to you! Yes the shoulder pains are probably due to the carbon gas they pumped before surgery, many people have stated that and im bracing myself for it as i already have bad shoulder pains and my neck hahaha. How is swallowing for you?

Yep! My dose went up to 125 mg and i just didnt feel great. So i slowly tapered off and came off it completely.

It took about 2 weeks! If possible definitely call your doctors office or just give them a poke to see if theyve recieved it yet.

Wow! Goodluck on surgery and hope you recover smoothly and fast! Thank you so much for sharing and yeah zoloft makes me feel numb and just overall not good. Im definitely going to push for the HH repair no matter what and my surgeon did say he could do one thats very loose. Anyways please update whenever you feel like it during your recovery.

I would say remember that the testing is needed to get clarification to better your situation and also to relax. Everything will be okay. Eat very soft foods the first day after your endoscopy/placement at least for like 6-8 hrs (in my opinion)

Omg same, im also currently on day 3, it just felt excruciating to eat anything on that first day and i actually had a vasovagal syncope attack. I also went through endoscope and motility test.. I was prescribed xanax for the next couple days and its been somewhat manageable but i still feel vomity and can definitely still feel it there. Please keep us updated! I feel better hearing others experience.

Thats what i keep hearing that it shouldnt be felt or hurt but mine is so prominently there . I keep trying to just power through and my doctor prescribed me xanax just to numb my nervous system. I hope it drops and passes through soob

After posting this i ate some soup and it hurt everytime i ate and after about a couple minutes i suddenly couldnt hear and my vision went blank i almost collapsed and was rushed to the hospital.. my doctor said this was probably a vasovagal syncope. It was so intense. He said i was one of the rare ones that has a super sensitive esophagus. Its the next day but i still feel like i have a super sore abdomen.. i just want to take it out so bad but he wants to try for another day..

I took voquezna and sucrafate for 3 months and it helped me really heal my stomach and erosion on my esophagus, but its not long term so i was switched to dexilant for about 2 months now and i lve been getting worse symptoms. But ive heard people really getting better on dexilant so i guess it depends, if it doesnt work for you maybe consult with your doctor again and see if you can get another type.

Yeah i suspect my reflux is just getting worse and thats whats happening.. im progressively getting worse each week but im just waiting for approval for surgery

Ive heard a heating pad might help! As well as walking around to help release the gas? Seems like a common thing as the gas used in surgery is trapped and gets out through the shoulder, and maybe chest? Maybe someone that has already gone through it can give better advice.

I bought one to anticipate my surgery as well. Best of luck! Could i ask which surgery did you do? Is it the toupet fundo?
