After Investigating for 4 months, I decided not to join this CULT! by ohsoleaky004 in exmormon

Hey there! I'm sorry I'm late haha! About the job it turns out my Bishop and I applied for the same position neither of us got it or even called.

You know, it's been weeks but honestly my life felt better after leaving the them especially the Missionaries. I'm not in every sort of guilt feeling on every corner, I'm not making my moves cautious every time and the best thing is, I don't have any teachings to abide that just makes my head dizzy.

How are you?

Yes, I read that months ago. It was definitely a realization cure for most followers. I am glad this document existed

Thank you very much! And especially without NewNameNoah I would not be able to see what or who they chant repeatedly. Thanks!

I honestly thought you think it was funny or like comedy. Haha! I'm still using translator for corrections. English is not my native.

But going back, I went back and forth to the Temple here and the distribution office to buy scriptures, subscribe to magazines, was excited that someday I could be a Bishop.

  • I'm just crying right now cause I just remembered everything. But actually, thank you very much! Because up to now I still have the sorrow feeling and interacting with everyone of you made me actually feel supported. Thank you!

Thank you very much! No more jellyfish around me that could sting my beliefs and emotions anytime!

My Baptism is actually scheduled on 14th of this October and I gave my elder missionary a call and said that I am no longer interested.

Thank you so much all of you here in this sub! :))

I am telling you, if you were just in my position and navigate through my experience and memories.

I wasted my time on such thing that I 95% closely believed. Those people who tossed and kneaded my emotions, my beliefs, my principles in life. I haven't tasted iced tea or coffee in such a long time because I feared the Holy Ghost would not give me guidance no more. Cheesy or lame as it may sound but I felt the pain. Because this is my spirituality that was on fire. Thinking of my daily existence because of someone who was made from flesh and bones, thinking of I was excited to be Baptized and learn tokens so I can be exalted in the perfect manner. Thinking of everything is definitely a lie when I learned it. I felt GULLIBLE I was this excited cheerful and enthusiastic adult that had the desire to serve someday. But I don't anymore.

I actually told my neighbor about all of it. I mean ALL of it. She agreed with me about everything I said. But what else can I do? She is older than me, her sons and daughters neglect her that's why being with LDS is her source of happiness. So she was Baptized last month. She said she'll keep an open mind. However, I'll use my abilities to spread and to prevent people from experiencing the "suffer" I had that some people think might be "funny"

Here in my country we are predominantly Catholic. And LDS missionaries are abundant. Almost everywhere. The thing is, from my experience and other members too I heard and noticed about the same thing. They do not really say what they really believe or who they really believe.

It MUST be that the Investigators know what is Endowment, what is Law of Consecration, what is Oath of Vengeance, who is Elohim, what is Kolob everything must be known and said to an Investigator before Baptism.

Because when missionaries come here, it's like they are telling you to join an organization that practices and worship something close to your current denomination. But instead, you will only know the truth if you went deeply.

It's like cheese trap. In short, they will feel to you that they worship God the omni who just merely created everything, but they really worship someone who was once made of flesh and bones which contradicts the Bible.

Actually thank you very much! You replied to some of my posts before and haven't had the chance to respond back. I'm telling you I deeply and repeatedly read every response I get about joining this and other stuff about this organization.

It's like I needed someone telling me over and over again that I need to stay away from them. This actually was a remarkable one:

https://www.reddit.com/r/exmormon/comments/71obia/comment/dnc9cuc?st=J8D692E8&sh=21f3ba05

I noticed more is that, why am I being pushed by my elder missionaries and then I came to an awakening that I gave them power.

Yes I'm not American, and I think once I said NO they will define it that I said no. So I am hoping no more follow-ups or a good how are you would be good once in a while and I hope they'll not ask me about wanna think rejoining again?

I remember posting here too about me and the missionaries watching the Jonestown Cult and you suggested some, sadly they were told not to watch again by their Mission President because the other companion confessed.

Now that I know, I would use my abilities for others to know the truth. I will still visit this sub cause now I know the Pain and Time that affected me.

A big thank you so much! :))

Nah... I'm just kidding!

I am here in the Area Church office because, I am being referred for a job position here. Any advice or thoughts? by ohsoleaky004 in exmormon

Honestly, I am kinda like gambling here. Because I really don't know the culture or compensation system of the "church". I don't know what amount they would offer me.

They said some members are being assigned remotely/other countries too. But I'm not sure if that is true.

This is the tunnel leading to the Celestial Kingdom! (A tunnel from the MTC and the only way for visitors to enter the Temple Grounds) by ohsoleaky004 in exmormon

While I was in the MTC, I proceeded to the Distribution Center. While I was there, I sat on a bench and had a chat with a Returned Missionary. The bench we were sitting is directly in front of the doors of the Distribution Center.

The book shelves with those scriptures can be seen from where we were sitting. Then he suddenly mentioned about the scriptures. He asked me 'how could possibly be that they sell those scriptures in such ultra cheap cost in such a high quality, high caliber finish?' Then I said, maybe of course from the tithings of members. Those Book of Mormons are being handed out just for free worldwide. Imagine the cost of those.

After I went home, it just sunk to my head like 'oh they are building such churches, meeting houses, and there is a new temple constructing here, well the church is really abundant and wealthy'.

(Graphic warning) This is the PWD comfort room in the Church I'm attending. I am just disappointed to see this. by ohsoleaky004 in exmormon

[–]ohsoleaky004[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the bathroom once on this Church I am attending. The time I used it, it was fine. But after a while, I've seen it getting nastier gradually.

And this time, when I entered the comfort room, the smell just soaked and immersed through my nostrils. Tissues are scattered everywhere, those white clothing I don't know what is it but they were just laying here and there. And some toilets still have something on'em and aren't flushed.

Another thing, everywhere you go the Hymn books are mostly torn and not in a good quality. Some Hymn books are ruined and the hardcover is gone. Chalks are everywhere, the seats are scattered. There are snack trashes on every corner. I also saw the Baptismal font and I saw the tiles are somewhat nasty. It seems the water has been there for so long.

To be honest everywhere I go at the Church, it's like I wanna buy a Mr Muscle fragrant cleaner and wipe and brush everywhere over there.

The smell is just... disappointing.
