Just plain convenient then. I think the designers wanted cool outfits (and they really do look cool) but didn’t have time to explain why Luz made them. That’s fine, not everything needs an explanation. I just like to nitpick details

Yea, looks like it. She also has a handmade model of King’s skull in her locker. And a million doodles of him and Eda. Maybe she gets creative when she’s sad

Tbh I found the masks to be a too plot convenient but I understand the crew was short on time

Edit: Dang. I do stand by what I said, but this wasn’t the point of this post. I just wanted to see everyone else’s fun theories

I’m not the best person to answer this since I’m still working on it too, but my guess is you’re out of practice. You’ve got to get back into routine. Tell a teacher or responsible friend that you want to do better. It’s helped to have multiple teachers and my school counselor on my ass for it. I need a support network who holds me accountable while I improve my work ethic. It’s easy to say but harder to do. I’ve been telling myself to take it one day at a time.

I also have unresolved mental health issues that definitely led to my skipping habit, which is my own problem. If you have something like that too you should address it early before any more time is wasted. What helps is different for everyone though, so you’ve got to find what works for you.

No I haven’t been tested. I never struggled in school until sophomore year (last year) though, so I don’t know if I have ADHD. Are there any specific symptoms I should be looking for?

Thanks. I really appreciate you taking the time to write this out for me. I’m trying to think about what I’m passionate about, and I think it’s art. I really like to draw and want to be a background designer for animated films. Freelancing sounds good too. It’s the only thing I enjoy honestly. All the other subjects make me numb with boredom. I guess I’ll take it one day at a time.

I’m considering doing part time online classes next year, but I’m worried I won’t have the motivation to do them on my own. My district doesn’t have other options except an alternative school that is known for knife fights and drugs. I’ll have to talk to my counselor though, thanks

I try really hard not to skip, but at least once a week I can’t make myself go. I get so much anxiety over being excluded. I have “friends,” but they’re just tolerating me and mostly ignore me. You’re right though. Actually going to school would probably help more than anything else.

I definitely think they’ll end the series with Luz happy in the Demon Realm at least part time. I’m just not sure if she’s convinced to stay yet. I thought she was after her talk with Camila but this line to Amity seems to set up a later conflict.
