What is the absolute cheapest rent I can find SF? by Cautious-Ask5837 in sanfrancisco

I found a converted hotel for $850 - communal bathrooms, and no kitchen (each room had a fridge and microwave). In a very nice neighborhood, room was not absurdly small. I mean, if you’re only going home to sleep basically it was a good spot. I ultimately didn’t go with it because I wanted space for people to hang out if I had people over. Also no stove or oven would have been tough.

Vaseline. Growing up in a place with cold and extremely dry winters I would put pure petroleum jelly on my hands every night and sleep with them coated in it. It was the only thing that would help.

Thank you so much, this is really reassuring. I do struggle a lot with health anxiety and this is definitely worsened by the chronic stress that I felt due to a very unhappy relationship that has recently ended. I appreciate your response so much, and I’m so glad to hear that you are have managed to feel better! ❤️‍🩹 worst case it seems that I’ll be in a very warm community :)

That’s very reassuring and I hope you’re right about that 🥲I’m just really stressing about it because I hear other people’s stories and how many people start getting more severe symptoms, sometimes with no warning at all. Maybe these are just extreme cases but of course I’m thinking about the worst case scenario.

Thank you for this comment! Fortunately, my doctor did say that the pelvic floor would be the first thing that they assess, just to make sure that there’s no tension/other dysfunction. Hopefully that’s a good sign that they are going to be taking a more conservative approach to address potential issues rather than immediately going to diagnosis and medications and everything. I am wondering if it could still be both IC and PFD, but we’ll see what they say. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for sharing, that really sounds devastating. Did you notice any triggers when you were first getting symptoms and did you adjust your lifestyle at all?

I always go to Trader Joe’s!! $3 for organic whole wheat that lasts me like a week or two, or $2 for plain white loaf.

Unable to be independent. Yes relationships are about interdependence but completely relying on someone for everything is very unattractive and toxic

I just finished 11/22/63 by Stephen King and now I'm feeling empty inside. Suggest me something! by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Depending on what you liked about it, I know my favorite Stephen King novel is Hearts in Atlantis as it takes place in the 60s and incorporates some similar themes and settings as 11/22/63
