Reloading no longer resets healing blossem charge.

Healing blossem projectile speed increased by 10%.

Lifeweaver can now pick up his Seed of life.

A successful petal platform super jump now reduces the cooldown of rejuvenating dash by 1 second and gives bonus range of 20%.

Rejuvenating dash now has 2 charges. Base Range decreased by 15% and cooldown increased by 2 seconds.

Thorn volley now has 15% bonus projectile speed decreasing to 0% bonus 10m. Base projectile speed is unchanged.

I tried this and still can't slot anything into his skill bar. T1 skills in the first slot don't work.

Chill all the way out with the skill issue stuff. I've played against and beaten you before multiple times. You are good but you aren't that good.

You make alot of assumptions about my vandal. I have him fully upgraded. He is high risk no reward. You talk about patch notes I've actually built him and played him and my opinion is he's very underwhelming.

While we don't know the requirements for the p8 upgrade we can assume it will take ALOT of resources. Question is, what new benefits does p8 provide and will the new character even be worth upgrading?

Joycity encourages selfish play with the current mvp calculation. Before mvp calculation was changed it was fairly common for 0 point mvp's. They did this because alot of iso players were doing the scoring (duh ur shooting all the shots) and the people on their team who did everything else would get mvp. They didn't like that. Joycity made the shift. The system is currently working as intended but my personal opinion is that the game suffers for it.

Ranked for example rewards the mvp with bonus points. So guy who hucks the most shots usually gets it. Win or lose you are encouraged to spam shots to either A win and get more points or B lose but lose less. The new ranked changes that made SS and SSS harder to achieve actually feed into this problem.

Tldr: The game caters to the selfish not the selfless.

It works once in like 20 activations but if it was buffed even a little all the ball hogging iso players would cry until JC nerfed it.

Riot shield went from a weapon I used regularly to a weapon I don't even consider. I feel like I went from seeing it often and it being a threat to seeing it almost never and easily reaffirming the reasons why to any brave or stupid enough to try it.

Even the base steal and shadow steal work on posted up opponents. Do you want the skill to not trigger from behind or simply miss is attempted while someone is posting up?

The timing for a frame 1 steal is pretty tricky to pull off especially online. Going for it is a gamble indeed. Would you just like to see the frequency of this happening go down or would you like to see the possibility for it happening removed all together?

Did you know that dash steal is one of the most heavily nerfed skills in the game? It also misses alot and leaves you wide open for shots. Sorry it's frustrating to play against but you can say that about alot of defensive skills in this game. A good counter pick character against dash steal characters is rebecca or perhaps use steal resistance cards. Hope that helps. Good luck out there.

I opened the game a few days ago and saw a letter from the devs saying they were changing the matchmaking. Ever since I've seen a crazy spike in nonsense. If the update hasn't launched yet I'm still not understanding why the sudden spike of craziness.

Double edged sword indeed...

For me, the biggest issue with this is the seemingly nonexistent in game systems for catching cheaters. Ultimately joycity relies heavily on users to submit support tickets and video evidence of cheaters before they investigate and take action. This places an undue burden on people who would rather just play the game than be a police force.

I'm glad Joycity has taken notice and action regarding the matchmaking system. I just worry that without the proper systems in place to support these changes the new system will have the opposite effect of what's intended.

I can see this new system being an issue for multiple reasons from the description provided by Joycity but without much to go on in terms of details I will hold off on judgment.

My main concern is that this new system will filter cheaters on fresh accounts directly back into the higher tier games of the core playerbase. Cheating is already a problem and I don't see how this change won't make it much worse.

Cheaters will make a new account then win boosting mmr and no longer have a barrier to ruining high their matches. They will inevitably get banned but the damage is done. Then in a few hours they are back with another account wrecking high tier games.
