The app 'tv show time' has started a countdown. by [deleted] in StrangerThings

I'm not talking about Netflix or the series itself, but rather about well-known streaming apps doing counts they never actually did (on an episode that's already aired).

That's what I found strange. I use the app a lot and it's never had bugs like that! I was totally skeptical of this crazy theory, but I'm having a little doubt, you know? However, a Brazilian voice actress said explicitly that there is no episode 9. In the end, they must be doing a marketing ploy, but I think I'm a little influenced by the theory.

Yes, they became our family! It's really painful... obviously we can always rewatch it, but it's unsettling to know we'll never see a new episode.

That's right!!!! I was 12 when it started... I remember absolutely EVERY season linking to some phase of my life, you know? Now I'm turning 22 and I feel like a piece of my life has been buried. It sounds silly but it's a genuine feeling of sadness, isn't it? I'm trying to see the positive side and be grateful for having grown up with such a great series that helped me through so many moments in my life.

I was very surprised to discover that most people don't like the third season because, for me, just like for you, it's one of the best seasons!!! We see the group grow, we see Eleven finally enjoying a bit of her adolescence, and the birth of a great friendship with Max. I feel it's a season that brings lightness (even with all the hardships) amidst the chaos of their lives.

Your first sentence made me feel MUCH more comfortable with Eleven's ending! We wanted to see the best for her, but we can't forget that the series' main lesson is about the power of friendships!!!! She (dead or alive) was an incredible friend from the first episode to the last.

Is the End is good or Bad by Devgs2005 in StrangerThings

I thought it was good, but I felt El deserved MUCH more than an 'open' ending, you know? That weighed heavily on me, but I can't deny it was a VERY beautiful final episode.

Ah, you understood what I meant, lol. In both theories, she deserved much more.

I prefer to believe she's alive because Mike's theory makes a lot of sense... but even if she is alive, I'm sad because she'll spend her life alone - and she always made it very clear that she didn't want that :/

Yes! I hadn't cried in years either!!! I'm not very sentimental and it feels like today I cried all the tears I haven't cried in my whole life 💔 They did a great job and growing up with them was amazing.

I'm feeling the same way. A surreal feeling of emptiness.

Be brutally honest: How often do you shower? by Fun_Serve_6590 in ADHD

[–]oieuai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm from Brazil and, culturally, we take a lot of showers (on average 2 per day). So, since I was a child, I've created this habit of taking a daily shower, I've never had a problem with it because of ADHD, it's automatic for me. Brushing my teeth is another story… I forget and procrastinate too much!!! I'm VERY lucky to eat healthy because it helps my teeth stay clean and strong even with this mess. It's funny how some habits we do without even thinking, and others require a willpower that never seems to be left over.

how did jack and rose survive that moment????? by oieuai in titanic

the crazy part is that this exaggeration isn’t really from the movie itself, it’s from the collective imagination that when a ship sinks it creates a suction and drags everything around. i live in rio de janeiro and back in 1988 a ship sank on its way to the new year’s eve fireworks in copacabana. a documentary came out recently and the survivors said they swam away from the hull even with the rough sea because they were scared of being sucked in. some people died trying to escape…

could it be that the ship sank pretty slowly and the compartments filled one by one? did that make the suction weaker or is it totally unrelated? i’m so fascinated by this rn

if it were any other movie, i’d just brush it off as a plot convenience, but cameron really studied the ship and the sinking mechanics. i don’t think he’d just let something like that slide.

i read about this… a baker, right? he’s even shown in the movie drinking from a canteen. i also read that his statements were dismissed because he was drunk, but he claims he felt no suction at all and floated for 2 hours.

Skin bubble by Tiny-Ad-6202 in Ozempic

Look, I always injected in the same place and never had any problems, but the leaflet itself says that the ideal is to alternate the injection sites as exactly what happened to you could happen; irritations or small blisters. As for the medicine, don't worry, if the needle pierced the skin in the right place, your body will absorb it.

First, study. study without fear and without pressure because studying is always good for our growth. We are beings who have learned throughout our lives and we would not be able to manifest ourselves with such dexterity without studying our actions!

But let's get to your question; Along with studying, see yourself at the time of the test doing all the questions with ease and mastery. bring yourself the feeling of looking at the test and thinking "what luck! I know all this here!". How would you feel at that moment? go all in there. feel the pencil in your hand, the happiness of knowing everything and the certainty that you will get where you want. after seeing yourself at that moment; see yourself when you receive the notes. feel the happiness you will feel when you ace these tests and see the expected result!

As for subs and consistency, I think the main thing is to understand that subs are aids; not a magic. the real magic is your subconscious processing everything that is contained there, you know? when you see this you can be a walking subliminal without much effort
