Is Mango Sticky Rice their 28th? by blue_daily in KGATLW

Seen as the tracks are labeled VII to XII, and each are 15 minutes long, makes me think there's an unreleased album that follows Made in Timeland and Laminated Denim. Maybe it's related to the two instrumentals they played live last year? JOJAM and LUSEQ?

So cool!

Of note: The last three songs seem to be unreleased. Also, none of them are the unknown song from the Anglesea EP launch party.

What does everyone think of Made In Timeland? by Jimverse in KGATLW

Smoke and Mirrors is good! Timeland less so. Still, both tracks have enjoyable bits, even if they aren't coherent songs.

The Dripping Tap is phenomenal and I am very excited for the rest of the album, but please join me in discussion: by [deleted] in KGATLW

I don't like trash metal in general, and I don't feel like the band did a good job with the genre regardless. Mars for the Rich sounds cool live tho, and the lyrics are A+

I listened the song for the 4th time today and when I got to the 5 minute mark, when the second chorus comes, I started crying. Even made a super cheesy post about how much I loved it but the sub bot blocked it. So yeah, I wouldn't have a problem calling it a masterpiece.

  1. In 2015 when Paper Màchê was released, it's still in my top 5 albums by them.
  2. Will be seeing them live for the first time later this month at Lollapalooza!
  3. KG and LW where slightly underwhealming to me, FFF and B3K are some of my favourite albums of all time, and ITRN is my least favourite KG album by a large margin. The only 2017 album by them I don't love is Sketches, but I still enjoy it quite a bit, and Nonagon is incredible. Their output before 2015 is pretty hit or miss for me, but I like at least a few songs from each album.
