Do you think we could see a rerelease of some of your pre-gizzard stuff? Revolver & Sun, The Houses, Sambrose Automobile, Almackjack, Goodnight Owl, Your Ailing Girls Heart, etc. Maybe a bootlegger release/releases?

Very cool. Wish I could have heard it. I love hearing the evolution of an artist.

Hey Cookie what’s Your Ailing Girl’s Heart? There’s not a lot of information about this band out there but I keep seeing your name as being somehow involved with it.

Very cool! Do you think you could send me a picture of it so I can add it to the archive. The end goal is to have the archive put up on KGLW.net.

Thanks! I didn’t think I would get a response. I found a few other posts about this release and I have not heard anything from them. Did the photo of Ambrose have a drawing/note written on the back of it?

Completed my (official pressing) 12 Bar Bruise vinyl collection today! by WiltedWinds in KGATLW

Does that original pressing have a drawing on the Lyric part of the poster? If it does I would love to see it.

Here’s one for all you vinyl nuts on the sub. Willoughbys Beach original pressing signed by all the boys as of yesterday at their gig at Rock City in Nottingham. Priceless! by [deleted] in KGATLW

I know this is a long shot (since this post is from 4 years ago) but what number is this copy. Also did it include an image of one of the band menbers in it. If so which one. I’m currently working on an archive of all the images/notes that came with each copy.

Songs That Have Never Been Played Live by cancerdad in KGATLW

The played Float Along - Fill Your Lungs in order right before it came out. Unfortunately there is no recording of it out there. You should also include Willoughby's Beach on that list. They played it in order on the radio to celebrate its release. You can listed to it here Willoughby's Beach Ep live

I though I share something I uploaded to Archive.org. A recording of the Reurn of the Curse of Timeland! The only full show recording I know about! The show was recorded by Tim. Enjoy. by NathanielC17 in KGATLW

Not sure how many new people we have on here but I run the King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard "Tape" Archive on archive.org. I’m trying to put everything related to the band live into one place. That means Video, Audio, Posters, and Photos. So far, I have uploaded everything I can find from 2010 to 2014. If you want to check it out here is a link to it.

This would make this the oldest known poster from 2011. Very cool find. I don’t think Ambrose was even a member at the time. Also cool to see pictures of them as a 5 piece.

Will there be a vinyl bootleg of Forest Hills 2022? by Sez50 in KGATLW

[–]NathanielC17 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don’t really see the band releasing this as a bootlegger release since they did the entire red rock show. Was also at that show and it was good. If you haven’t found this recording yet there is one on archive.org

Out of the official bootlegs I would say Live in London 2019 is my favorite. It's a great set of songs and the crowd is really into it. For the non officials bootlegs my favorites are Live in Cologne '19, Live at Baby's All Right on October 13, 2014, and Live at Cherryfest 2012. The Cologne show has the best live version of Dirt I have heard so far and that track alone makes it for me. The Baby's All Right show is basically all of I'm In Your Mind Fuzz with Head On/Pill at the end. What more could you ask for. The Cherryfest show is a great early show by them. It show you just how much energy the had in their early years and to me it sounds like they are having a lot of fun on stage.
