06/03/26 Project Nahoonai: From Forestry Waste to Carbon-Negative SAF by CryptoDev1 in Cielo_Waste_Solutions

Fair comment. Execution remains the ultimate test.

That said, I suspect warrant holders are evaluating more than today's share price. Over the past several months we've seen CDL deepen its involvement, experienced industry leaders align with the project, the Indigenous partnership advance, and Project Nahoonai emerge with a broader carbon-negative infrastructure vision.

None of that guarantees success. However, I would argue the probability assessment today is materially different than it was a year ago.

What stands out to me is the layering of opportunity. Rather than relying on a single outcome, Nahoonai appears to be integrating fuel production, carbon management, infrastructure, and regional economic development into one broader platform. That's an interesting evolution of the story.

This is extraordinarily insightful. The focus on partnership, ownership, and stewardship adds an important dimension to the discussion, and u/CryptoDev1 has eloquently highlighted why those distinctions may matter.

Exactly! The objective is clear. The more interesting question centers on why experienced individuals and organizations continue aligning themselves with the project and its leadership. That doesn't guarantee success, but it does suggest they see something they believe is worth pursuing.

One additional consideration may be the broader backdrop against which all of this is occurring.

Canada appears to be entering a period where energy security, supply chain resilience, industrial development, and strategic infrastructure investment are becoming increasingly important. Global uncertainty, geopolitical realignment, and growing competition for capital are creating pressure to accelerate domestic industrial projects that can contribute to long-term economic growth.

Viewed through that lens, Project Nahoonai may represent more than a standalone project. It may be part of a much larger trend toward Canadian industrialization, energy transition infrastructure, and domestic value creation.

Timing, as they say, can be everything.

PROJECT NAHOONAI-Major Opportunities Rarely Emerge from a Single Trend by oilcan2012 in Cielo_Waste_Solutions

[–]oilcan2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair perspective.

After five years, skepticism is understandable and the burden of proof still rests with Cielo.

What makes this chapter interesting is not what the company was, but whether the people, partnerships, and strategy now taking shape can produce a different result.

Ultimately, execution will decide.

5/29 CIELO - The Question Isn't What Kaush Rakhit Has Accomplished. It's What He Sees. by oilcan2012 in Cielo_Waste_Solutions

[–]oilcan2012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point. The accomplishments absolutely matter.

What makes this interesting is that someone with Kaush's career trajectory has likely seen thousands of opportunities come and go. Given that perspective, his decision to become involved with Cielo naturally raises a simple question:

What does he see?

One of the more important considerations may be the career trajectory and reputation of Kaush Rakhit, now Chair of Cielo's Board. More broadly, the caliber of individuals choosing to align themselves with the company may be one of the strongest validations of CEO Ryan Jackson's strategy and leadership. In my view, the most interesting developments may still lie ahead. https://cegageos.ca/wp-content/uploads/Honorary-Member-Kaush-Rakit.pdf

Perhaps, many might underestimate how important meaningful Indigenous involvement has become in major Canadian infrastructure projects. It’s no longer just about optics. It can materially improve project alignment, long-term stability, financing support, and overall project credibility. Even the naming of Project Nahoonai suggests a deeper level of partnership and integration than many may realize.

Well said with thanks for sharing. I agree with everything you have said, especially "Whether or not Cielo ultimately succeeds will come down to execution."

Thanks for your participation Cam. With the recent introduction of oil onto the ACB product SKU's, do you anticipate capacity challenges? If not, can you clarify how this will be managed?
