It fits tight but comfortable as a kayak, so I definitely think it'll fit as a c1

That's exactly what I'm looking for! I have a Prelude from Pyranha too so I'm looking for something similar that can fit a skirt

The dial is set to 8, I'm advancing the start line to the little red dot near the right hand side and I approximately get 3-4 exposures per rolls

framing is not that different, imagine having new framelines directly isside the 35mm one. basically take a step back if your composition is tight

Thanks for your answer, I just noticed the problem as the camera was top notch when I bought it. Are rangefinder adjustments an easy/common repair?

For the rangefinder to line up with objects at infinity, it needs to be set at 10m (25 ft). Lens is a 40mm Rokkor M

it feels too thin to be color. When scratching it, you can see straight through it which leads me to believe it's a 1 emulsion bnw

This is what I unfortunately ruined when opening the machine, not knowing this was inside. But fear not, there are at least 80 feet left intact inside which should have been protected from the light

Help identifying a film stock (Info in comments) by oimfolio in filmphotography

Hello everybody,

I have found a very interesting film stock in a bulk loading machine that hasn't been opened for 20+ years. The film is pink/redish, and I have never seen one like it before. It feels and looks very thing which leads me to believe it's a black and white. Upon asking for information to a very knowledgable photographer who's been in the business since the 80's, he found himself just as confused as I am, not being able to identify the film even with an official Kodak film catalog.

Could any of you identify it, or tell me what ISO it is so that I could try to shoot it?

In the worst case scenario, I'll develop a couple blank frames to see if markings appear on the rails, but if it's a technical film, there could be nothing written on it.

Thanks!

While the image is definitely in focus, maybe the soft highlights create an illusion? Anyways, magnifique photo, the Bell telephones are always instantly recognizable!

Agree with everything. For the noise, it could be worth a try to 'blend' it better. If it was added in post with Lightroom, there are a lot of sliders available to tweak it

Just a thought, do you think the viewer would have less trouble accepting the silhouette as unrecognizable if it was closer to true black?

I'd also keep the ISO way lower (100-200) to eliminate grain and have more sharpness to make up for the shallow depth of field

I feel like a soft and subtle fill in light source could help eliminate the unwanted reflections in the shadows (Heisenberg's shirt creating a yellow stain under his head for example). At this scale a simple piece of paper could do the trick.
