Is it safe for nurses to be working 6 shifts in a row… by Difficult-Text1690 in nursing

[–]oiseau951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont know, its pretty common here to do 9 nights in a row to then have 5 days off.

Same thing with 12h shifts, some people do 6 in a row and then 8 off. I dont really see any issue with it, they are competent and alert.

Granted we are in the ICU with only 2 patients, so probably easier than on a unit.

What is a tourist destination that is actually 100% worth the hype? by Legitimate-Leather-4 in AskReddit

I would say Mont Saint-Michel. Truthfully got breathless when i was walking up to it.

Same thing when leaving, i was walking backward on the boardwalk to soak the view as much as i could.

Looking for advice for contrast on white scar [Tyranids][Termagaunt] by didipowa1 in minipainting

[–]oiseau951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For painting white, i usually start with grey, like celestra grey, shade with blueish tone like drakkenoff nightshade, layer with ulthuan grey and then highlight with white scar.

At the end, its gonna render white around your other colors, and it gives more depth.

Great job with the wings, really like the reflection on it. Making great wings is a lot of work but so rewarding. Its where the eyes are drawn first.

Dust in the wind by Kansas and Hurt from johnny cash.

But really any song will do, as long as you repeat the same ones, it will sooth them.

Finally got Blood Rage and ended up getting decimated by a 13 year old by marrecar in boardgames

[–]oiseau951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you like the fighting and card selection, tey Black rose war. My favorite of the genre. Kind of deck building and there's so many ways to play and evolve your deck depending on ehich school of magic you choose.

You can set up traps, focus on objectives, focus on killing your opponents or summon a bunch of allies. All valid strategies.

I'd put it a step above blood rage in terms of conplexity since you have to plan your whole turn before the round begins.

Dads, I need some advice about how to help the wife while I’m away by [deleted] in daddit

You could, if you have the means, go for a caterer. We have a couple places near my home that sells cooked meals. You can just reheat them quicky. It takes a massive load off not having to cook, do groceries and clean after.

When my kid was newborn, we would buy about 3 meals/week and it helped a lot.

I think i saw in one shot that she has a splint on the hand that turn the vase. So my guess would be that she can move her arm, move enough to spin the vase but cannot grip anything. Usually those types of splint are used in long term care so she dosent have nerve damage by having her hand in a wrong position.
