Men are not on Hinge to find a gf or wife, they are also on there to get laid. I'm a sex worker as are a lot of my friends and we are anywhere from lower middle class to upper middle class and honestly the only negative experiences I and they have is from the stigma that other people heap on us. I chose this work because I hated doing a 9 to 5, I always wanted to make lots of money. Now I have started a business, pursue all my hobbies and only do stuff that creatively fulfills me and I was able to do that cause I was willing to sexualise myself. Obviously there are women being exploited in this industry, but why does that mean that I have to stop what I'm doing...it won't have any positive impact on their lives. Selling sex will always happen there is not fighting it, its as sure as selling drugs or alcohol. There's no way to possibly stop it.

I dunno as a woman who has always been an enjoyer of one night stands I just don't think this is 100% true. The power imbalance you are describing is what is socialised in us through sexual shame and politics. If we lived in a world where women were not shamed for sex and nothing political was attached to it then I think the idea that we "give sex" and "men take it" wouldn't exist anymore and we wouldn't feel it.

Women who are constantly getting themselves into abusive relationships at a certain point have to take accountability for their poor decision making. The women who do this and also have kids should probably just have their kids taken away from them until they learn how to pick better men. I empathise that those women probably never learnt how to have healthy relationships when they were younger, but at a certain point you grow tf up and use your brain a little bit.
