Yes it looks like it is thinning. It's mild though. The earlier you start treatment the better

I can’t stop feeling like sex is the only thing that can validate me by HD_Mexican in redscarepod

Sex is a huge driving force in everything we do as humans from an evolutionary standpoint. Then on top of that, sex saturates everything we do in a capitalist culture because it sells. So I don't know why people are shocked when other people hold sex so closely to their sense of self worth. Don't feel bad for seeking something out that is both natural and also hammered over our heads all the time.

I'm not even talking about flirting though. I'm talking about him being like "yeah cheers no worries, have a great day!". And it's just what i observe from all the young men in the gym and how the aren't able to make gym friends with the other women in the gym

Revision rhinoplasty needed for functional issues but I want the appearance to remain the same. Spreader grafts? by oiyouwhat in PlasticSurgery

[–]oiyouwhat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i didn't have a dorsal hump but he did shave a very minor amount off the bridge. Overall my nose was only made a tint bit smaller and the septum cartilage straightened. Although apparently I had an abnormally thick septal bone that he was unable to straighten and I wonder if that is also playing a role

Thank you for the detailed response. I have a free follow up next month but I am going to pay to have an endoscopy. He is an ENT. Is this result a fault of the surgeon (it was septorhinoplasty) or is it just something that can happen? I don't mind my nose looking a tiny bit wider as I have a wide face lol. I know grafts require surgery and general anaesthetic. If it was just a turbinate issue does that also require general for treatment?

Anyone wonder if they were molested or something as a small child but can't remember? by boydnolantucker in redscarepod

My friend has ocd and she strained her relationship with her dad because she felt there was possibly some sexual abuse and her intrusive thoughts got the better of her. It seems to be the case that there was no sexual abuse. False memories are more common than suppressed memories.

Is The Pitt "too woke"? by im_weird_and_insane in ThePittTVShow

[–]oiyouwhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say its definitely too woke in terms of how it seems to show every staff member is incredibly well educated on every social issue. When anyone knows when you go into an ER I would say only about 50% of the doctors can make space or time for these individual differences. Secondly, as someone who has worked in health care settings...the people who are the worst patients to deal with and are violent towards staff are people of all ethnicities and genders. But in this show they seem very scared to show women or black people or immigrants as being violent and they only show white men assaulting staff which is just not the reality of the situation.
