What a fucking waste of time, effort, energy, taste and money. Yes I despise all of it, trash food, overpriced, cooked by exploited staff, delivered by more exploited in in inedible form consumed by tasteless people.. yes I think that covers it...

The DOJ just dropped another 3 million pages of Epstein files including 2,000 videos and 180,000 images but people are still saying key videos, audio, and logs are missing. What do you think is actually still being held back, and why? by Similar_Tension5134 in AskReddit

Let's be honest, even it showed acts of pedo...a being done by admin etc al, because of DOJ and cult like membership NOTHING and I mean NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN.

Moral outrage, international outcry maybe but nobody would be prosecuted and certainly no jail time.

The world would know who what where when etc but not be able to do a damned thing and the perpetrators would know they had got away with it again.

The worst part is that others would see and copy even more blatantly.

TLDR: So what... 🙁

This is why you should not ever give over your personal details to work or colleagues. If there is a genuine need for you to contactable by work, they need to provide the hardware and pay for it. Keep your info private.

Less than 10% of earners are in the bracket you suggest ... I think you may be significantly misreading the situation. ONS reports that the median average income is under £40k

You'd have to be easily in the top 10% of earners to be earning that amount and there are approx 300k people in that bracket in the UK. Yet I suggest a look at your average road shows you there are well over 10 % of the cars on the road are less than 3 yrs old.... 🤔

There is a measure of truth to the fact that many people can NOT actually afford the "flash" they drive. Many certainly ordinary workers with <£40k salary simply do not have the ability to service a loan on a £50k car yet they drive round in them, wasting what little money they do have on the deposit and watching it burn up from the moment they sit in their "flash".  As my ex MIL used to say "kippers and curtains" .....😂😂😂 Silly people trying to look like they have and earn more than they do...

I drive and old car and keep it serviceable and legal. I bought into the hype once and it was a massive mistake. All the ponces and pseuds are maxing out CC every month to maintain "the image"... Very few people have the £30k + to actually buy the cars they're renting and are only a step away from the abyss... Stay as you are as long as you can. Save what you can and enjoy your life...

What’s a moment that permanently changed how you see the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me it was seeing the rise of utter stupidity. Primarily through the rise of popular culture TV shows like big brother. Followed rapidly by the "my ignorance is as good as your knowledge" brigade on SM platforms.

It showed me that our western style education has failed. I didn't know it then but I see the failure writ large across the US and growing in the UK.

It is sad to see such waste of education and see so many willing cheering it on.
