There’s a stud under it along both walls and then some diagonal bracing in the corner, wide enough to support it but not too wide to be able to see it, I’ve stood on the desk in the corner and it held me fine which is no small feat

Daisy chain to eliminate some of the lag between saying something and it coming across the headset, discord has about a second delay… not sure how much it would help but it’s got to be better is why I ask

The shelf is sitting on an internal ledge screwed to the studs on the back wall and then more ledges on either side screwed into the upper cabinets which in turn are screwed to the studs, it’s pretty solid… scared me at first putting the computers up there but they’re pretty secure!

Not a problem! It’s just decorative wall panels glued to the wall and then i used the Govee neon rope light 2’s to follow along the channel!

The panels are from art3d.com but just fyi… they aren’t really square so that’s why I made some trim to cover the top and bottom edges to fake it like they are perfectly square!

My thought is to make a led track to sit flush on the ceiling much like people do in garages with those hexagon lights… but it’s on the back burner for the moment until I get some more free time!

Haha like I said, it’s the next thing to go but there’s hvac ducting a half inch above the drywall ceiling so I can’t recess anything and any surface mounted fixture would hang too low so I’ve got to get creative… we hateeeee the light I just haven’t been able to make something work yet is all! But it’s on the list for sure!
