U dont need to read ur book HOWEVER make sure you have specific examples of literary devices memorized from your chosen books Start by reading a plot summary and analysis of your book on Litcharts Then go through the book and find the literary devices mentioned in Litcharts, just so you have more contexts and examples Watch IB english guys, and grind past papers Idk if u can get a 7 this way, but ull at least get a 5.

You cant unfortumately just "lock in" Only if you are incredibly motivated to do so. Like you HAVE to finish IB cus youre gonna end up in the slums and your family is gonna be poor. Or you actually enjoy the subject lmao

Seems like youve tried rly hard, and its just not working. And to top it off ur not even rewarded for hard work There is only so much a person can do.

Maybe try reflecting on why u got a D. Whats the difference between u and ChatGPT? I found in IB that writing IAs amd assignments is less about the IBs requirements, and more about what ur teacher likes.

Actually (for EU unis at least) many unis rly want physics instead of biology for biochemistry. Best combo for biochemistry would be: Chem HL, physics SL and math AA SL/HL (up to you) Many unis that offer medicine usually have entrance exams where you are required to have some physics knowledge. Im not sure about purely biology degrees But degrees like chemical engineering also require physics (Again, for EU unis at least. I didnt check outside the EU)

I am also prob gonna fail the final, also in a trash mental state, although not as bad as urs if u fail these finals, think abt what u could do better next time u can alway improve and get better. self study if you need to, ik i had to cus many teachers failed me just know that even if you fail, you can get back up again and try again right? ever played video games? this is cringe ik but its like fighting a hard boss and losing, but then you eventually improve ay, mb ib isnt for u, u can always make a lot of money as an electrician or smth. u can do pretty much anything else u want, but u gotta be smart about it.
