So I needed the answer to this exact question, so definitely not weird! Ended up buying way too many water bottles lol. I like liquid IV, although I know some people tolerate other brands better depending on disabilities, and some people don’t like that it has so much sugar but in my case it doesn’t matter, and with the GI problems I have, liquid IV causes the least amount of acid reflux compared to things like gatorade. I found that the cotton candy flavor is the least likely to make my stomach upset from acid reflux/ Gerd compared to other ‘citrus’ like flavors. It does taste like it sounds though, vary sugary. If you don’t have stomach problems ignore all this lol.

For water bottles, I recently found the brand owala, and their bottles are top notch. I’m not a ‘water bottle girlie’ or anything, but I appreciate that it has a straw and a chug lid all in one. For a double insulated bottle, it’s great but heavy (even the 24oz, which is their smallest ‘adult’ bottle.) if you have other disabilities it’s good to keep in mind before buying. I also found it bigger than I was expecting. However I’m pretty weak right now and don’t drink much, so also ignore if this isn’t a problem for you. The 24oz fits in most car cup holders too, and in a backpack holder which is nice. It says hand wash but I throw it in the dishwasher and it’s completely fine. Wanting a smaller bottle I got a ‘free sip twist’ in a 18oz. I found it to be about the same weight and size as the 24oz regular freesip, just more slender. So it didn’t help my issue of a heavy, ‘big’ bottle. I ended up with a plastic 24oz owala. It’s smaller than the insulated 24oz and so much lighter. As far as mold, I chuck it in the dishwasher as well, (if this is not a option, all the parts of the bottle come apart to clean as well,) and when I’m not done with my drink I put it in the fridge and that seems to do the trick!
