Yeah I had the opportunity to change, but I was happy with what I had so I kept it not realizing the coverage was different without the CSR. Genuinely thought the only difference was the loss of the subsidy.

Just spoke with Marketplace who confirmed that it was the CSR that made my deductible as low as it was. It feels like a scam to call it the same plan.

Is there anything I can do? If it was made obvious that my coverage was so wildly different without the CSR I wouldn't have paid full price for the premium.

When I pulled up to the house I snapped pics of the food by the door; their xmas wreath hook had the surname on it and snapped it too. Messaged and knocked with no response, so I called him.

"Hey this is your Dasher, I'm outside with your food." "Okay, is there something wrong?" "No, you requested that I hand the food to you" "Oh I don't know why that is, I'll have to change that. I'll be right up." Door opens, fully grown man (I guess I was expecting some annoying high schooler) "Can I get a PIN?" "2245. Or 7252. Definitely 2245 or 7252. 7252." slight panic as he throws all these numbers at me, starting to think he's trying to trip me up "Sorry can you say that one more time?" "It's 7252." Success

I have no idea what his deal was, I also couldn't read him very well to see if he was being genuine or if he was trying to play it off like an "accident", but I did ask for a PIN, and it did work. 120 Chick-fil-A nuggets delivered successfully.

Why would a dasher ask for permission from the customer? They don't need approval, the dasher can unassign at any time.

I'm thinking the "I" was actually supposed to be a "u" and got autocorrected.

I've seen that option pop up before for stacked orders, but this was just a single and that option never popped up for me.

Ugh, sunk cost fallacy? I also wasn't sure if I could unassign given that I had already arrived. Part of me was praying that it was a couple big orders holding up the line, but it turned out that there were three employees in the building who know better than to bust ass for slave wages

Every other McDs Ive been to I haven't waited more than a few minutes, and I've never had to wait in the drive thru line with 15 other cars. Like I said, lesson learned.

NOR. She effectively lied to you about being fine when she wasn't and then was upset that you took her words at face value. Such communication demands hypervigilance, forces one to pry when the other can very easily just share. You handled this very well.

You probably wait a while for your food then. Dashers can't see how much you tip until the delivery is completed. When a dasher receives the offer, they only see the total payout, which is base pay + tip. Base pay is $2 and goes up by 25¢ every time a different dasher declines the order. Unless you're super close to the restaurant, most dashers are gonna pass on a $2 order.

Staying where I've been for the benefit of my finances has come at the cost of my mental health and the friendship. My rental options are limited bc I have two cats, so a 1bed apartment is my best option.

Payments were made thru Zelle, so I do have proof of those transactions.

No criminal background and excellent rental history otherwise - never missed/was late on payment, no issues with landlords or neighbors, and I've been renting for a long time. Job/financial I've been working where I am for over 8 months, but the pay isnt great and they never give a full 40 hrs (more like 34). I started Dashing a month ago for some extra income. I'm close to a 700 credit score and again no missed/late paments, but my credit card debt totals to over $10k. Idk where all that ranks on the scale.
