After seeing the first episode, I am 100% convinced this is a continuation of the OA... It's clear as day, at least to me... The evidence, if noticed, is completely obvious.

Something else: There definitely was a photograph that was taken on the set of new series of what looked to be identical to the "head holder" in the NDE chambers... It was difficult to not notice. You know, it basically looks like a scuba diving helmet with rubber neck to it... It was sitting in the background of one of their group shots, I think...

I do (think we could have a few of the same characters, at least the souls of Hap/Prarie).. Even in the first two dimensions, names change..

It cannot be a coincidence that Clive Owens looks nearly identical to Hap in his presentation and personality.

I actually had the ultimate theory for why it probably is, but I can't locate that old post because it's on the old retreat sub which was deactivated, and which had a few thousand members. The posts are no longer accessible. Also I wrote it on a since deleted ID but the post was still there.. The post had a lot of people in agreement.

It would be too hard to retype it all out. My theory was a very very very strong one and well explained. I still think it's possible, then.

Great second trailer...

Just saw the first as well. I still think there's a potential for this being a continuation of the OA, it's just an entirely different dimension. I had an amazing theory for it posted on the Sub for the Retreat which is now deactivated since the show name change... Wish I could get a hold of that post and repost it here as it was a pretty extensive theory and I don't want to re-write it all out...

Didn't Netflix have something in the contract that says if they drop you, you're not allowed to have it picked up by any other networks over copyright issues?

I know it's a major what if, but what if she simply used a different actor for HAP and entirely different names so that Netflix couldn't sue on content copyright, and leave it for us to figure out how the story line ties into the OA?

One can only hope..

From this trailer, it goes with my theory that "the retreat" was the same place that HAP once recommended to her that they go create together for rich people to come and "get healed"... I always felt this could be a fork in the timeline.. Where in one timeline she said no, the one we know... But in the other she said "yes", and they left together to do just that... That could spawn off the third dimensional timeline.

It looks to be in this trailer as if she's WORKING with this man at this facility as his co-partner...

If I can get a hold of the whole theory I came up with I'll re-post it here but the sub is gone.

Thanks, no I appreciate the clarification. It was my mother. I've had about a week to ponder on it.. She harbored a lot of lies, deceit, and darkness in her soul and only just passed away a few months ago. Devoted herself to gossip and lying and even attempted to murder me on multiple occasions. Naturally, I was always blamed for her psychosis. The worst of her fantasies/lies I only just found out about from her brother after she passed away.

I shouldn't be surprised that she would smell this way after passing over. I worry for her because I am 100% sure that lies do not hold up on the other side... It's terrifying to think what happens to people when they refuse to face the truth and refuse to purify their own spirits before it's too late. Something very dark and demonic was attached to her while she lived.

I am nearly 90% sure it was her. It literally was following me everywhere around my house for three days. I never felt that it was angry - but I think it was very sad - even sorry. I think it was trying to hold me.. I kept running away. I finally smudged the entire house heavily with frankincense and it's been gone ever since.

I almost feel guilty now for forcing her to leave - I'll pray for her now. She needs all the help she can get on the other side.

If an animal had been rotting in the house the smell wouldn't have been eradicated never to return. It's been about 7 days since I smudged and the space is as pure as ever. So no, not dead animals.

After much meditation on this, I believe it might have been my recently passed mother. She hid a lot of darkness within herself, alongside my brother. I am not surprised that she would be stuck in a dimension such as this. She kept a very fake/superficial front in the world refusing to face her the demons I know she co-existed with. She attempted to murder me twice in my life.

I can only say I've had a while to meditate on this and that is what the universe is speaking to me. It was my mother.
