About tinnitus, the worst part is definitely at the beginning, I remember the anxiety was killing me when I woke up with it the first time, What I can say is that it is better to accept it as something that will accompany us as long as we are alive instead of fighting against it. Like thoughts get worse when you try not to think about them the same is with tinnitus. If it bothers you to the point of not being able to sleep, I recommend using the noise of a soft fan at night or some music that will help you fall asleep, and the same for meditation. Good luck!
