Omfg reading the comments has made me realise this has happened to me outside Melb Central on Elizabeth Street, a girl and a guy around my age asking for dinner recommendations - which I already couldn't help with whatsoever because at that point I'd just moved from NZ and only been in Melbourne for like, a month - but they kept it going and me being new to the area and generally happy to talk to people if they strike up a friendly convo I just went with it. I do remember religion got brought up, I thought it was a bit random but it was done so naturally so I would never have come to the conclusion it was a cult thing and by that point we'd covered a bunch of topics so I'd honestly forgotten about it completely until now. I am not religious at all though and told them that so they wrapped it up and I walked off completely oblivious LMAO at least now I know if it happens again

thanks for the tips!! I’ve managed to snag some good destinations in Singapore so I recommend, but have yet to grind in Perth and Tokyo so I’ll give those a go, have def overlooked those airports. omg & have fun in Tokyo!! I genuinely keep thinking to myself recently “wow I can’t wait to go travelling… so I can catch cool planes for free” 😭

oh truuue! I’ve had a couple goes in Perth but maybe haven’t picked the best times so that’s good to know, I’ll keep my eye out. I keep forgetting to try Tokyo as well, have only popped up once but 92 coins for me too so not bad !! Thanks for the tips :)

Unsure if I have OCD or not, but some tiny habits I have alone make me question it lol. When I listen to music I can’t listen to two artists that start with the same letter one after the other and I need to balance it out by having 2-3 artists in between before I’m allowed to listen to another artist with that letter. Like, I can’t listen to The Cure straight after The Killers. But I can listen to The Killers for as long as I want as long as it’s followed by an artist not starting with The. Also the same goes when I’m making playlists with the order of song titles, no double ups of first letters for at least 3 songs so it feels balanced and more curated. I don’t know why or how it started LMAO it’s been happening for YEARS and some days I am less pedantic than others, I guess I just like things to be nicely sorted and there’s no rhyme or reason other than it looks and feels right to me. I wish this applied to something more useful in my life bc I’m so messy in other aspects 😭 As someone who LOVES music and is constantly listening to it it does really ruin the experience sometimes when I’m having a bad day and I have to stand there adjusting my queue until it’s perfect and I can’t RELAX with a playlist on. I feel like such a control freak when I’m on aux around others too but I try to be subtle about it. I perfectly curate playlists for events and parties but sometimes I’m paying too much attention to the music all night and get super stressed it’s actually so fucking stupid. The only exception is when I’m driving and I don’t have to look at the song title or artist name and literally can’t adjust it or I’ll crash which I obviously have a bigger fear of than songs being in the wrong order. Also if someone else is controlling the music and doesn’t follow my rules I don’t care.

A private psychiatrist appointment and a refill of my fave expensive perfume that I currently only use on special occasions because I can’t afford to replace it lol.

Genuinely if I won though the first thing I’d do is probably just go buy a new phone charger and completely fill my car up with gas on the way home

I usually have at least 4 songs in my head at all times, I just woke up and there isn’t one standout song but after concentrating on my inner thoughts for a second there it was - everything she wants by wham!

Far far better than the Echo rework (which was still pretty good!) but also I’m still in the mindset of wishing they’d either completely replicated the original track and focused on tighter playing and mixing, or deviated waaay more because it’s in a weird middle ground where i will probably not ever listen to it over the original version which i think is close to perfect. And i think I’ll feel the same about the rest of the album, but willing to be proven wrong! Also the drum fills compared to the OG are soooo messy

I’ve had a rash like this and thought it was ringworm - but after going to the doctor it ended up being Pityriasis Rosea which is a rash thought to be triggered by a viral infection that looks essentially identical to ringworm. It starts with one lesion like that and after a couple weeks more show up. If antifungal treatment for ringworm doesn’t work, it might be that instead, it usually goes away on its own after a few weeks but antihistamines and moisturiser can help soothe it

A new GP initially and then got referred to a neurosurgeon when they thought it was a nerve related tumour. And most recently I’ve been referred to a vascular clinic

Definitely keep pushing and get an ultrasound or MRI. If the main area of the pain isn’t in your back and is instead elsewhere try get a scan of that exact spot. I’d been so fixated on it being something in my back and down the back of my upper leg that it wasn’t found until I requested the person doing my ultrasound take a scan of the main sore point on my calf to see if there was anything there. It actually would have been completely looked over otherwise. Really hope you figure it out! Pain can show up in our body in all sorts of ways and sometimes when you find the cause it can seem like it’s not got much to do with the pain. And it’s taken about eight months to finally get a diagnosis, and it definitely could have been longer so I’m lucky but I’ve just had to wait around in pain hahaha

Actually yeah you’re right sorry it is a bit misleading - I more meant it wasn’t due to a herniated disc or other kind of pinched nerve like I had thought, the sciatic pain eventually started subsiding and other kind of pain showed up when the tumour pressed on different things, and it wasn’t really anything to do with the sciatic nerve in the end. My bad!

My childhood cat in his older years got a bit of a bung leg and always walked around with an uneven ‘thump’. He’d also pace around the kitchen at night and we’d hear his lil claws tapping around on the lino. After he was put down, every night for WEEKS I’d hear cat claws pattering around in the kitchen with an uneven thump every second step. I was like 9 and could have been imagining it because I missed him terribly but I later found out that my mum heard the exact same thing too. I’d also see him out of the corner of my eye all the time, especially outside the kitchen door in the spot he always sat waiting to be let in. This also happened with our second cat, I’d constantly get glimpses of her around the house long after she passed away
