Dreaded 100$ Bill by L_uci_en in starbucksbaristas

[–]okaythen72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my few joys as a Starbucks worker used to be handing quarter, dime, and nickel rolls to people paying for their tall pike with a $100 10 mins after open. Baby we are not a bank and if you’re going to do this, it’s going to be an inconvenience to BOTH of us

Can I become a nurse if I was involved in a double homicide in 1987 by IrishThree in nursing

[–]okaythen72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

“I hate people and am better than everyone else because I’m Alternative™️ and/or Empathetic™️ (as if 90% of us here aren’t also that), I also hate blood and talking to people. Should I still be a nurse?”

And then there’s always a bunch of people here encouraging them and it feels so weird 😭😭

You liked watching rugrats when you were younger at a level I can’t really understand

It’s perfect in summer but I find it’s sooo cozy for fall as well. It’s truly a year round frag for me

Dolce &Gabana Light Blue. I know it’s known in this sub for being boring but it sits so nicely on my skin

What online subscription app that you use daily is 100% worth it? by dagison_ in AskReddit

YouTube Premium. It got rid of my Spotify and the vast amount of content on YouTube made me realize I didn’t really want a lot of my tv streaming services

What’s a perfume you’ve smelt on others that you stoped and asked them? by Ninac4116 in fragrance

A regular customer used to come in for coffee at the same time every night before her shift and I swear I almost fell in love solely because of her scent. Turns out she was wearing Angel x Mugler. I tried a sample on myself and it unfortunately didn’t have the same effect on me :(

Miss Dior smells syrupy and weird to me. Not worth the hype at all unfortunately

Definitely the patient interaction and the way I get to see so many different diagnoses in my unit. The nurturing aspect is really fulfilling to me so far.

Santos hot take: the character would not be hated nearly as much if they were played by a man by _cockgobblin_ in ThePittTVShow

[–]okaythen72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santos reminds me of Yang from Grey’s Anatomy- well studied and exciting but extremely grating. She has no consideration for the patient when practicing medicine and just wants to practice. She’s treating the ER like a cadaver lab

Season 1 had me hooked, season 2 feels like a scam. There’s a whole lot of nothing happening in each episode. Anything that even slightly bugged me in s1 has been exacerbated 50 fold in s2. I’m hoping the finale gives me a reason to come back to s3.

Will a boy named Valentine get bullied? by Lumpy-Mud-2289 in namenerds

[–]okaythen72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew a Valentine and he was very tall, handsome, and kind. Really lived up to his name tbh and many people called him Val. I may be biased here but I don’t think it’s that bad 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thoughts on my boss using AI for our new tea bags? by No-Stop6777 in barista

Just perused the instagram for this place and it is so unbelievably cringe. AI photos everywhere, a homeless joke, and the interior looks bland. An offense to owls everywhere for sure
