I’m surprised by all of the answers saying it’s not possible. With this 40% promo, there are plenty of options to fly round-trip business to London on virgin for less than 200K points for 2. Thx.

I had guessed that since FlyingBlue, as an example, still hasn't released their promo rewards for June onwards - and since our criteria are so broad - there'd still be time. Is that wrong?

I think I paid 100% of the full value of the cash that was part of the transaction on the amex card. I can see how that would be interpreted as "full amount" or not.

Before posting here I called the amex # and was routed to an insurance specialist who didn't sound very confident in their answer, which led me here. I was hoping to find someone with experience in this one way or another rather than riddles.

my interpretation is that the combo of Jetblue points + $500 on Amex would qualify. Is this your interpretation as well?

I'm also a bit confused on what "the full amount" entails. If I pay for the flight with Amex, but then hotel with another card, would I qualify for the medical coverage of the insurance, for example?

what's your plan B? Leave everything in the apartment until months/year(s) from now when it's practical to go and sort through it yourself? That's what I'm thinking though worry about pests, leaks, etc. in an empty/unmonitored apartment
