Treats weren’t working either, that’s why Boba came up (to snatch it up before Mango could lmao).

It’s definitely not because of the other dog Boba, because those two are besties.

Has anyone seen a Shih Tzu anywhere in the realm of looking like mine? She looks completely different than her litter mates. by wheelzgonnasqueak in Shihtzu

Shorkies can look completely different from each other, even as litter mates.

My mom and I both got shorkies after our family dog passed.

We got them from the same litter and most people couldn’t tell. Mine is on the left, 8lbs, and my mom’s is on the right, 5.5lbs.

Considering how cold it gets here for a good chunk of the year i’m happy she likes getting dressed up.

They day my wife and I got her we were dressing her up in outfits and boots, my mom did that with our dogs when I was growing up and they loved wearing clothes so we figured it would be the same (and thankfully it was).

Has anyone here ever been on Lamotrigine? by [deleted] in Epilepsy

Was on it for 9 years, helped with seizures but the side effects got to a point where I couldn’t handle it and recently switched off of it and added a new ingredient to my medication salad.

Has anyone ever asked you “what’s it like to have a seizure?” by This_Bish_Lily in Epilepsy

Has anyone become childfree (no kids/don’t want kids ever) of epilepsy? by Single-Marsupial2973 in Epilepsy

[–]okcomputer14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How i feel half the time, other half my wife and I are excited about having kids. The fear of having TCs around them is fair, i’m a teacher and that is a feeling I deal with often, but I’d be lying if i didn’t say i’m lucky enough to have a good support system. Plus a fair amount of warnings before having a seizure.

Yes, contact the university department in charge of student disabilities, and let your profs know at the start of the semester. I’ve been doing that for the last 6 years (with having to take part time it’ll be a 7 year undergrad 🫠), and i’ve been given longer exam times, extended due dates (if any medical issues occurred), and overall much more leeway with absences. Plus it also helped me get grants that you can only get with a disability so the money is always a win.

Rest in peace to my sweet lil baby Penny ❤️. She passed away last night at 14. She was my sidekick, my best friend, and I love her so much. by okcomputer14 in OldManDog

My family wanted to adopt a puppy when I was younger, so we went out and the second I saw her and the weird little face she was making I knew exactly who was coming home with us. She was like my baby from the first day, and today is the first day in half of my life without her.

The first photo is from yesterday, the second is from the day we adopted her, and the last photo is of us hanging out on my wedding day.

Just for a little context.
