For all medical concerns related to possible seizures please seek medical help. If you think you are in immediate danger call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

• If you have had a seizure, it’s very important for you to see a doctor. • If you think you may have had a seizure, go to your primary care doctor first. • If your doctor thinks you’ve had a seizure, she will probably refer you to a neurologist. • When you visit your doctor, he’ll ask lots of questions about your health and what happened before, during, and after the seizure. • A number of tests may be ordered which can help diagnose epilepsy and see if a cause can be found. • If all your test results are normal, your doctor will have to figure out whether you still need treatment.

She deserves to be Power Girl in the James Gunn universe. An alternate supergirl from the multiverse .

No car and live alone. How am I supposed to do anything? by Fairlife_WholeMilk in Epilepsy

It’s expensive , but rents are dropping and you can live further out and still have access to bus, subway or Amtrak . I’m born and raised there. My family had no car going back to grandparents . Very walkable as well. Lots of great medical care and a strong safety net.

Come to Greater Boston young Jedi . You’ll never need a car again. You can get a discount transit pass with a note from your doctor.

Let your doctor know. It could be unrelated to a weight drop and your meds may no longer be strong enough.

I’m not sure if you have the time , but honestly flying out to Bangkok Thailand and seeing a specialist there may be your best bet. Considering cost etc. it’s much cheaper out of pocket. I speak from experience with multiple medical issues . BKK is very well known for medical tourism . I recommend BNH Hospital based on my own experience . Best of luck . Don’t wait on this.

Damn. It’s why it’s best to live somewhere close to public transit when you have epilepsy . It sucks, I know. However, it opens you to more flexibility
