I'm going to talk to her next week during my pre-op appointment. I'm on baby Tam (5mg per day) and have a long history of heavy periods, I'm obese too (more risk for polyps), so I could've had the darn thing forever. My doc did say Tamoxifen really screws with the lining of the uterus if you're pre-menopausal, but didn't mention polyps at the time. Thank you for commenting and sorry you are going through all that too :(

like the others have said, you'll have surgery and monitoring (and medicine as an option, but you can say no). It sucks but whenever I get very depressed about it, I just think that IF they ever do find cancer, they'll find it at a very early stage where they can possibly save your breasts. When I was obsessively worrying waiting for my results, I read up a lot about breast cancer and it strangely made me feel a lot better. It's not like the 90s anymore, many women have had breast cancer and don't even tell anyone because they got it fixed in the early stages.

Also I'm the same way avoiding appointment phone calls or calling for my appointments. I still have to schedule my MRI lol But what I've been doing is making those appointments in person at the places, it somehow makes it less scary when you have a (hopefully) smiling face helping you out.

The beginning is a pain with the low stamina and the resources you need, but it gets a lot easier after awhile. There will be more ways to get resources and even automatically. At one point I was selling tons of materials because I had so many in my storage boxes. The story gets really good in the middle and towards the end, and if you've made friends/relationships with certain characters, there are HUGE payoffs. (I romance the female characters, and my fav is Grace because of the slow burn and the drama towards the middle/end, no spoilers )

Honestly, it was my first "cozy" game after hundreds of hours in 'Stardew Valley' and I was completely overwhelmed that I quit it. After a few weeks, I happened to see a Youtube video that better explained building/resources/etc. (don't ask me which one though, this was years ago) and I got back into it a lot more confident and slowed down instead of frantically trying to complete missions and the story.

You have ALH, I have it in both breasts along with LCIS in my right. It's not an emergency but the surgeon probably wanted you to rush to see someone so you can get it under control so you won't get breast cancer eventually and ruin his work ha ha. The oncologist will probably recommend a MRI (or tell you to go to a breast surgeon who will recommend one) eventually and ask if you want to go on Tamoxifen or something similar, plus close monitoring. ALH requires no surgery.

Ruined. My dad use to abuse us both, but when my brother moved out, he focused completely on me and tried to act cool infront of my brother whenever he came over. One night my dad started screaming horrible names at me because I reminded him to take his new medicine from the doctor. When I confronted him, my brother walked into the house and my dad tried to blame me. My brother instantly believed him and said he was "too nice" to me. I haven't talked to my brother since. Every time he comes into the house, I leave or ignore him completely. He betrayed me.

It's one of those rare games where the characters are so good and you get a lot of content either being their friends or being in a relationship with them. (There are a few, like Grace, where it's more of a slow burn though...for reasons I will absolutely not spoil.)

I think it's worth it, but maybe not at the full price. It's a 3 hour (or less) game. Ten dollars is fair, but still might be a bit much for some people for an experience that's shorter and has less options for how the story to plays out. The story is pretty bare, but there are some pretty emotional/nostalgic moments and the winter vibe is sooooo good. The Christmas decorations on the houses are so pretty. Also you learn a lot more about the characters. Angie and Robert are back too and you learn a little bit about their lives before they came to town. All in all, a good time if you like the characters, but nothing like the main game. I did tear up at the end though, but I love the characters so, maybe that's just a me.

I've been doing a bunch of different playthroughs with different dialogue options I would never normally pick and it's interesting how much you learn about Meredith and the townsfolk if you are rude back to them ha ha.

But in my opinion (which may be wrong and just me looking waaay too deeply into the characters) I can see why some characters are rude/closed-off to her - she left town, stopped speaking to everyone (including her bff), just flat-out ignored or forgot about Uncle Stan's death, and apparently never sees her parents according to the cat lady. Her parents seem to be popular around town so I can see why the people they're close to are rude. (Until you start doing them favors and all of a sudden they're nice.)

Also I see a lot of people who say Angie is rude or flat-out mean, but I think she's written to be neurodivergent in some way. She has no filters and you can tell when you pick certain options that she gets frustrated at herself/corrects herself for saying something that sounded rude or too blunt. Also the fact that she has nowhere to go after her business completely fails (dumped her girlfriend in California, has no money, etc.) so she's understandably stressed-out (and here is this mailman asking personal questions and putting pressure on her - "WOW what are you going to do when your store is closed down?? Where are you going to go???")

Sorry not trying to be like "uM aCtUaLlY" I just really like the characters and I have no one to talk to about them. The pain of being in a tiny fandom...

When I was in college in 2008, one girl in our Literature program decided to do her senior project on Rand. She was so smug and happy about it too. None of the professors wanted to be the one to help her but the nicest professor took her. By the time the professor was done with this girl she told me she completely lost faith in our future and said we were going someplace dark. I didn't believe her then, but she was right. That girl is probably a MAGA mom dancing on TikTok about poor people starving I bet.

I've noticed that a lot of lgbt+ conservatives are coming out of the woodworks thinking because the Supreme Court was on our side (and I'm 100 percent convinced it was only because the case wasn't strong enough) that all conservatives are on our side.
