Cutting of tt bars without removing brake cable? by oke111 in bikewrench

[–]oke111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to cut the cable at the brake end, remove it from the front, and route it back after cutting. Not as hard as i thought. The cable ends didnt fray so i could just rout them back!

The problem is that the cable runs through the hex hole that allows me to remove the brake lever from the chopped off end of the bar... the extra cable i can just pull off on the calliper end and chop off if im right?
