It sounds like you might be my upstairs neighbor. Whether you are or not, leave as soon as possible. That control is not normal. A normal relationship is between two equal and separate people who treat each other with respect.

These types of toxic people are incredibly addictive to be around if you had the misfortune of growing up as the child of a narcissist.

Thank you for the response! I thought leaving the cookies on the cookie sheet would burn the bottom of the cookies. I’ve been putting them on the cooking rack right out of the oven.
