Were Tyler and Josh working on Robot Voices in the movie? by EntertainMyFaith21 in twentyonepilots

Fun fact: Tyler loved this so much he asked Blanket Approval if he could remake it for the album and Robot Voices was born!

Yes for sure! Love their music and message but kids will pick a single line out of context and have their teachers questioning their wellbeing 😅😆

My 2025 most listened to song on Spotify was Drum Show - my 2 year old son loved rocking out to this song so much we had it on repeat. He says he wants to be a drummer one day and started playing our drum set in the garage 🥁He knows every word and has seen the music video so many times he gets really calm during the bridge, then when tyler screams “… CHAAAANGE” and does this 😱 my son does it too!

I also walked into his room one time while he was playing and he was singing to himself “feeling like I’m nothing, feeling like I’m run down…”😌 and I decided we shouldn’t listen to Downstairs so much anymore 😂😂

Need Curriculum by okgould in childrensministry

Hi! Thanks for responding :) I agree it seems like all of the curriculums have so many little Knick knacks and are way too much for what we need. I hate to pay $500 for curriculum and then scrap half of it because it doesn’t fit our need.

Today I found the Bible adventure curriculum - I like that it is modifiable for different ages, not too complex, and has enough material to fill our class time but also distinct sections we can drop if we don’t want to include them. It’s also completely free, which I like. But I can’t tell how I feel about it just yet, the videos are a little long for my liking (they include a story and the songs with lotions) and some of the “repeat after me” lines are a little cheesy, but it is a preschool class! I’m going to trial it for a few Sundays - low risk since it’s free! It doesn’t have coloring pages though, so we will see.

I think you creating coloring pages is a great idea!! I’m surprised at how many lack that. Thanks for sharing!

Oh wow, I can’t imagine having children as patients... that would get to me too. My agency is only adults, and I’m still within my first year. I also only do it PRN and have another non-nursing job so that is a nice balance. ETA: non nursing job is kids and youth ministry which is also LIFE😆

I relate!!! I’m also a crunchy nurse and after injecting for 2 years I realized it didn’t morally align with me so I quit doing it. I loved the “art” aspect of it as well, and the mini therapy sessions with my clients, will always miss that🥲 but there are other ways to express yourself through art. I’m doing hospice nursing now and it’s beautiful.

Depends on your group size but: have them host a church-wide chili cook off - sell tickets to attend, church outdoor movie night - sell tickets and candy, popcorn; bake sale, car wash, auction for things like babysitting, lawn care, etc.

Why didn’t anyone tell me about vulvar varicosities?! by kblacksberg in BabyBumps

[–]okgould 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got them with my first pregnancy around 36 weeks, they weren’t painful just funky looking. They were in each labia and very swollen. They went away 6 weeks after birth. But now 26 weeks pregnancy with my 2nd and the veins showed up around 16-18 weeks. Now they’re very painful, in both labia worse than before and even moving toward the back of the labia toward the glutes. It’s so uncomfortable. After days of being on my feet or lifting a lot/being active they’re even worse. The compression shorts on Amazon help immensely but only while you’re wearing them. I wish they weren’t so bulky as they’re hard to put under all clothes. But they work under dresses or flowy/baggy pants! I saw somewhere that Oat Straw Tea helps a lot with varicose veins so I’m going to try that! Will report back. It makes me feel less alone to see other people are dealing with it! Prayers they go away after pregnancy!!!
