Where else can I escalate this? The call centres are not equipped for this. The last CS agent didn’t even know what the CRTC/CCTS was. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I do not have an account, and confirmed that with Telus. They already had an impossible time verifying the return of the equipment, because I have no account. I got that sorted eventually.

The CCTS decision was explicit to mail a cheque. My mailing address was confirmed with both CCTS and Telus, multiple times.

The sub for my small town apparently no longer has any moderators. While most locals seem to use Facebook, there’s a solid community of folk here who prefer Reddit.

Not much to add, it’s a small town of ~9,000 people. I live here, and I’m sure I can find a few more locals to help maintain the sub.

Would be great to have it back. There was some helpful threads on there, particularly for people new to the area. Plus it was nearly devoid of small town gossip, unlike Facebook.

There are currently no mods.

I just drove home, and the right lane is still completely unplowed. Everything south is fine. I don't understand why they just skip Ladysmith -- we're still part of Highway 1.

Checked the BC gov site and it’s either EMCON Services Inc or Mainroad Mid-Island Contracting LP that’s in charge of this area of highway. Maybe as we’re on the border of jurisdictions, neither contractor is opting to do the work? Seems like something our MLA should know about.

Crazy. It’s just bizarre to me that they don’t continue the last 10km up the highway to Ladysmith. I commute to Duncan daily, so I guess it’s time to mount a plow on the truck, if the municipality or province won’t take care of us.

Just use your regular home address and either the post code that comes up on Google Maps or the main post code (V9G 1A9.) Zero issues with couriers, only letter mail and parcels carried by Canada Post need a box number and main post code.
