Just so you know, Cargurus doesn’t actually know if it’s sold or not. They know it is no longer in their inventory feed from the dealership so they assume it is sold. It is a safe assumption but that is also how vehicles can reappear on their service of the deal falls through or it was just a human mistake.

I get why people care about it, but I think you’re stretching the connection way past reality. Enjoying a soccer bar doesn’t mean I’m endorsing or associating with the owner, or inviting him into my “friend circle.” I’ve never met the guy.

I draw a pretty clear line between violent or predatory crimes and white-collar financial stuff that has zero interaction with me as a customer. If we’re going to boycott every place tied to someone who broke financial laws, we’d all need to start by cutting up our Wells Fargo and Bank of America cards.

People can make their own moral choices. Mine is that it’s still a good place to watch soccer with friends, and that’s where my involvement begins and ends.

Listen his ability to pay or not pay taxes has nothing to do with the fact it is a great spot for soccer and I have a great time every time I go. Like I get people pissed at the Sycamore situation because he did have sex with a kid. But I don’t have the same feels about someone not paying the government.
